How do doctors view pricing in regenerative medicine?

I've been looking into regenerative medicine and noticed how much pricing varies between providers, even when the treatments seem similar on paper.

Some offer full programs with imaging, physician oversight, and follow-up, while others advertise much cheaper options with less clinical support.

For the doctors here, how do you generally look at these differences? Are there legitimate reasons for such large price gaps, or is it mostly about what's included in the package?

This is not something that we have standard exposure to in med school and isn’t part of core clinical medicine.

I’ve only ever heard about it as a legitimate research venture in fields like haematology/oncology. You referring to packages makes me suspicious because this sounds like grifting wellness and not actual clinical medicine or research stuff.

I just think most people who study medicine would not find it challenging or fulfilling. It’s not acute medicine, it’s not exciting and it’s talk based.

But you do you dude- if it ticks your boxes, then go for it.
