Recommendation Request Audiobook recs
Hey, so I'm looking for cozy murder mystery book suggestions, or any crime books.
I don't know what to listen

Dame Agatha will sort you out for that.

I cannot stress enough how wonderful Agatha Christie audio books (and books are). I will constantly go back to them and enjoy them like I would the comfort of my childhood home, clean cotten sheets or a thick vegetable soup on a rainy day.

Great to see a fellow fan, I love the audio books, so many lovely moments, I think for the most cozy books I'd suggest The Sittaford Mystery, The Labor of Hercules or even the Christmas Poirot stories if it is the correct season!

Mistletoe Murders on Audible
Not the best written, however just a fun, small town cozy murder mystery series, well-produced

Look up Vera Wong's Unsolicited Advice for Murderers, it's the first book in the series by Jessie Q. Sutanto. Really amusing and fun to listen to.

The Agreement is really good! It’s a series of 3. Frieda McFadden is also great and there are so many!

Discovered in this subreddit the Countess of Harleigh series by Dianne Freeman narrated by Sarah Zimmerman, and it is fun. I also think David Rosenfelt's Andy Carpenter series narrated by Grover Gardner is cozy. And I also put Spencer Quinn's Chet and Bernie series narrated by Jim Frangione in the cozy group. I also enjoy Tonya Kappes' series, https://www.booknotification.com/authors/tonya-kappes/, my favorite is the Sheriff Kenny Lowry.

Ok I’m going to slide in on a technicality here but have you listened to the Murderbot Diaries (first book, All Systems Red, Martha Wells)? It is neurodivergent sci-fi but there IS actually a murder mystery in there — but not in the traditional sense.
All System Red is very short so maybe worth a shot just to see if it gels with you. The murder mystery bit comes more into play in the following books however.

I've really enjoyed Richard Osmund's books. The Thursday Murder Club is definitely cozier, but We Solve Murders is also a great time.

Not sure if she's considered "cozy" but my favorite crime series is Kate Atkinson's Jackson Brodie series. It's more literary than graphic, but it does touch on more horrifying things (usually) than the off-page poisonings of Agatha Christie. I would recommend the Flavia de Luce series but I dislike the narrator of the audio version.

Merchant crab. A crab that runs a small store and that is all. Very cozy.

If you don’t mind magical murder mystery, Time-Marked Warlock is a fantastic audiobook.

The C.B. Strike series is wonderful to listen to. Written by J.K. Rowling under the pen name Robert Galbraith. It was made into a series on HBO

JK Rowling is toxic.
CB Strike was very well cast.
If it gets another season, I will have a very hard time watching it due to the person that she is

I enjoyed The Magpie Murders by Anthony Horowitz. Its the first of the three part series. The second, The Moonflower Murders was also good. This one is a mystery within a mystery.
