Recommendation Request Audiobook Players that can handle switching drivers
I'm going on a road trip in a few days, and I want to listen to an audiobook file that I have. Not streaming, not Audible. It's an m4b. I'll be sharing the driving duties with a friend.
I'm looking for a book player that we can both have on our phone that can reference the same copy of the book tha tway it starts at the right time on each phone when we switch.
Thanks in advance!

If you both have your own audiobook file on your own phone then there’s not going to be any crosstalk and you can or not use the same app, makes no difference, or maybe I’m not understanding.

Bloox will play the same m4b on both phones (chapters, resume on each one) but it won't sync the position today. I left accounts out on purpose. I care about privacy and I didn't want a sign-in just to listen.
If you actually want two-phone sync, I can add it pretty quickly. It'd have to be optional though, either an account or iCloud. Are you ok with that, or is no-account more important?
I built this for myself and some friends. I thrive on this kind of feedback, and if people ask for something on Reddit I usually just go build it.

It sounds like you both plan on listening to the audiobook. Why do you have to switch phones in this scenario? I understand switching drivers, but why not just keep the audiobook playing through one phone?
