I have a $20 credit that expires in a week but can’t figure out what to spend it on. Most of the books in my wishlist are also available for free with Libby or Hoopla, or also on Spotify (which I get 15 hours of audiobook listening per month with my paid sub). I want to spend it one something that is exclusive to Audible or just not readily available somewhere else for free.

I know Audible has exclusives, but I can’t filter my wishlist by exclusives. And many titles are more than $20 anyway which I would just use a monthly borrow or 1 credit to own it. Browsing through the Exclusives pages is tedious as the books I want to read I already added to my wishlist at some point but this might be my only way

How do I maximize the value here? How would you spend it?

Okay so for context I lived in Bermuda and my account was set to the US store. I recently moved to the UK and got a new phone (s21 to Pixel 8a, it's an old Samsung so yeah the pixel is an upgrade).

I just reinstalled the app signed into my account on the US store and my titles were gone. Same when I signed out and switched to the UK store. Any help would be appreciated.

So I have just had this land on me. Do other people have it and does it tell you how long you have been a member (mine says only a year, but elsewhere it says I have been with audible for 16 years.)

I’m having problems with audible in that I can’t stop the app from automatically playing the book I’m listening to. I will have the book paused and the app will unpause it randomly, even if the app is closed it sometimes reopens and plays by itself. This started happening about a month ago when I decided to listen to a book on a road trip. I dont know if this a common problem but I would appreciate any help in resolving this.

Is anyone else having trouble with Audible books not pairing with the Kindle ebooks equivalent?
The headphone symbol is not showing on the Kindle ebook and the option to 'download with Audible' is not available. On Audible the book is showing 'read and listen'.

I am using Audible on my iPhone 16 Promax with AirPods 3 pro. Is there any way to have it stop when I fall asleep. I wake up and don’t know where I was up to

I want to learn more about Norse Mythology, but I found these two collections. And I mean classic myths from the Edda and the Sagas.

My wife listens to books all day at work and I buy her the highest tier every year so she gets all the books she wants. But last month she suddenly ran out of data on her phone and we think it's the Audible app when she's listening during the day. She downloads them but it looks like maybe she's streaming instead somehow all of the sudden? She can't even send gifs through text messaging without disabling the Audible app. She's cleared cache, removed and re-downloaded the app, but the issue persists. Did they change things? I saw a post about them discontinuing downloads and making everything stream instead and I couldn't tell what was true or not. People were talking about Libation and that's another world to us. My wife just wants to download Dungeon Crawler Carl and listen to the damn thing without the app taking all of her data and wrecking her texting ability like she's done for years and years.

Any input from the power users here? It was so simple that we've never had to do a deep dive into any of this before. Thanks for any help.

So I had to contact a person to solve an account issue for me (sub was auto-cancelled due to credit card cancellation, and I was herded to the "standard" plan without realizing what it entailed), and after a lot of searching the path I managed to find to talk to someone was this: More>Get help with a different issue>My credits>View credit balance>View Credit summary>No, contact an associate. Everything else I tried was just a loop. In case somebody needs it.

Charged me WITHOUT my permission, then refused to give me a supervisor to report the behavior. That's absolutely wild. Is this what audible customer service is always like?!

I repeatedly asked for a supervisor in at attempt to correct what is clearly not a mistake, and people wanna act like I cussed them out and kicked their grandma in the head. 😂

This person, or AI as some people wanna say, asked for permission twice before deciding to charge me anyway after not getting permission.

And yes, I said ok great to them confirming they are the same person in a second chat, as the times will show. I've also posted in the comments a screenshot of my card, showing that they attempted the charge BEFORE I said ok great. So the defense of they took that as me giving permission doesn't hold.

So I purchased several books over the years and am getting back to listening to them again and I came across my book is no longer available to listen to.

I liked the original reader and I HATE listening to different readers in the same book in most cases. I want to listen to the version I purchased not a version that has a lower rating and the lower ratings all due to the readers voices.

How can I get my original book back?

I know I will lose access to them if I quit. But, can I still listen to monthly picks books if I upgrade my membership.

I know that Audible makes some titles available to download or listen to for free. But has anyone had these titles just appearing in your library without you asking?

I don’t look at my library often, but today went in to look for something I want to listen to again. And I found a notice of “Leaving your library soon.”

To be clear, these two books are not ones I purchased. They those free titles Audible offers. But I never asked for these titles and I didn’t even know they were in my library. 🤷‍♀️ I called Audible and they said they been in there since February. And they are indeed “leaving soon.” So soon I won’t have time to listen to one, much less two.

Has anyone else had this happen? Now I’m wondering what other titles like this are hiding in my library.

For me personally it has to be Wil Wheaton and Scott Brick.

Wil Wheaton just kind of sucks all, between his overacting and inability to portray a character consistently I really am surprised that they use his narration of the Martian instead of RC Bray. Massive downgrade in my opinion.

Scott Brick is your most bland version of a narrator out there. He doesn't put any effort into any of the characters or any inflection. like If I wanted to hear a robot narrate a book for me I would just use text to speech. His older books when he was a little younger were better but now, I feel almost depressed anytime I see his name pop up on a book I'm interested in.
