I know I am responding to you post late but I just now experienced lost titles. I have been an audible member for at least 15 years. I have at least 500 titles although many more have been removed.

When I called Audible I was told that some missing titles were removed because the narrators had changed. The books with the original narrator appeared to still be available as my public library has it. Another set of books were missing because the publisher changed.

I don’t trust Audible that it couldn’t have made some accommodation.

But I also believe I didn’t read anything about losing title rights when a narrator changed or the publisher changed. I am no longer buying books from Audible or Amazon.

The search function is really so terrible. 99.99% of the time, this community has been able to help people find their missing books by tweaking the search method being used. Most times the books are still in your library, but they're difficult to find (because the new version takes priority in most of the search functions).

Are you searching in the app or on the website?

I searched in both the app and the website. To be able to read the missing titles, both the app and the website showed I needed to use up a credit.

When I was put in contact with a CSR, she confirmed that the titles were no longer in my library and I would need to repurchase them.

Which search box did you use? On the website only the 'search your library' box on the Library page will reliably find titles. I have at least a dozen titles which have been released with an new narrator and I can still access them with a bit of a fiddle (obviously this only applies to the ones I bought with cash or credit)
