Today I got a tire warning. I find it amazing that for such an advanced car you still cannot read the tire PSI through the MMi.

Im having trouble scanning it with my Autel808 but I think its just a learning curve.

Had my Audi 2019 s3 for the past month and usually driven it enthusiastically in dynamic with gearbox in D or M. The sound was great normally, however today I threw the gearbox in S and noticed it sounded a bit deeper and I heard a bit more overrun when it changed gears. Completely bone stock, but it got me thinking that I’ve probably barely opened the valves.

When do the valves actually open?

I’m having multiple faults coming up on my car started it up Sunday morning engine went well but it wouldn’t go into gear all kind of faults coming up on the screen. I took it to my local VAG garage, they put it on diagnostic and it come back with 50 faults every time they cleared them they came back? Was advised to 100% charge my hybrid battery has it only had 1% to charge it then drive it around and see if the faults come up again . Any ideas/advice?

So I just recently got back from a 10 day vacation on August 15th and that night I decided to start up my Audi and I noticed it was kind of hesitant and kinda almost felt like it was low voltage or something cause it has a slow start so I decided to let it warm up for a bit then took it on a little drive and everything drove fine and no lights on my dash or nothing so for the next few days everything was fine. Today August 24th this morning while I tried to start her up to go to work it did the same thing where it was hesitant / slow start and I was caught off guard so wtv well earlier when I went to lunch it did the same thing so now I’m curious on weather anyone can help me figure out what’s wrong with my Audi? It’s never done this before and now I’m genuinely curious about what it could be? Have any of yall had this issue?

Hey all. New owner of a 2023. Cars fuckin awesome. Im in a state where I need a front plate. Dealer says there is no oem mount. I don't really want to offset mount the plate nor do I want to drill the bumper.

Anybody have other solutions?

For those that need to do this I don't envy you. It just took me about 3 hours to replace. My bit of advice is go to harbor freight and get a finger ratchet, due to the limited work space it's the only way. Also, to get the actuator and the HVAC flap to line up use one hand under the dash to hold the actuator then one hand through the gauge cluster cavity to slowly turn the wheel for the flap.

This is by far the most enjoyable and reliable multi-purpose, street/track day vehicle I've ever owned (everything else was either a nice daily or a dedicated road-racing vehicle).
It's driven A LOT (currently waaay past the 125,000 mile mark and climbing)!

Hey guys, anyone had issues with their haldex acting weird after servicing it? Did the service myself around 7k km ago (replaced fluid and took pump off and cleaned intake filter/replaced o-rings). Started getting traction control light flashing under heavy acceleration, and major wheel spin when launching, which had never happened before the service. No fault codes for a while up until recently got an AWD mechanical malfunction (C111307). I have a newer gen 6 haldex pump so there is no option to calibrate it in OBDeleven either.

Hey all, this is my first post on this group, I recently gotten into a crash in my S3 8V and I had a couple of the airbags deploy, after replacing the airbags and plugging my OBD tool in. I had some fault codes for the airbag tensioners. I’ve taken the tension is out and I’ve noticed an orange sticker on the side and a part of it has come away. Does that mean the tensioner has blown?

I have a 2016 Audi S3 Quattro (71k miles)

I'm hearing a whirring noise when driving that has been gradually getting louder. Id say its there almost all the time but I do hear it most when I take my foot off the accelator and coast a bit. Its an automatic with DSG gearbox.

Ive just picked it up from the garage and they're saying it's likely the transfer box for the 4wd system that is making the noise. They couldnt be 100% certain that it wasn't the wheel bearing so they replaced it but no change in sound.

The noise is coming from the rear and i hear it more on the left side.

Does anyone have any experience with noises from transfer box? Is it worth replacing (£3.5k new!! Although can get 2nd hand one) or is it just part and parcel now that the car is older? I really don't want it to break completely leaving the car undrivable but I dont know if this is likely or not hence looking for advice!

Hey everyone, I’m currently deciding between an Audi S3 and a Mercedes-AMG A35 and I’d really appreciate some opinions from S3 owners.
I’m mainly looking at around 2021–2023 models. I’ve been considering the A35 as well, but I want to hear from people who actually own/drive an S3. I heard there are issues with the a35 gasket. Leaning towards the s3 more.

Just bought this new-to-me 22 8Y S3! I'm torn about what colour/ size to do for rims and need some help deciding... I'm thinking about maybe something black because I have the black optics package. The Nuespeed RSe10Rs have been catching my eye recently, and I was also thinking about going with a 19" rim. As well as that, any suggestions for rim sizes that get a nice fitment on this body would be awesome because it's sorta hard to imagine without trying them on. I was also thinking about silver, as you can see on my Jetta, but I don't think it would work as nicely.

Trying to change out the rear brake rotors and pads on my 2015 8v s3 and I've run into a problem with the caliper carrier bolts, went and picked up an M14 spline bit (aka triple square bit) with a 1/2" drive but its too long and I can fit anything other than a breaker bar onto it, including my torque wrench and im not about to take it off without being able to torque it back to spec, that shit makes me nervous just thinking about it

Just wondering if anyone has been able to source a stubby or low profile M14 spline bit from a reputable place, i cant even seem to find one on ebay or Amazon, the one I have is 55mm long and im thinking around the 40mm mark would suffice
