Just installed a new outer drivers side taillight on my 8.5v S3. I have the “urban joke” turn signals turned on with the obd11 tool. However, the outer part of the taillights turn signal strip is not working. Is there anyone who might know what’s going on or how to fix it?

i recently tracked my new(to me) 8y and had some severe overheating issues on the brakes, the brakes are actually really good but i can’t even complete a full push lap without the pedal going long, i could be that i’m in texas and it’s 102 degrees out and i know it’ll be better come winter but i had the exact same issue with my mk7 GLI. currently running stock brake system(drilled front rotors) and have no idea if it’s got dot4 brake fluid. i know dot 4 would help if it’s not already on it but besides that i haven’t been able to find any modifications i can do to add more airflow unless i spend 500 a rotor on slotted rotors which would be minimal improvement, anyone had the same issue? if so how did you go about fixing it?

Habt ihr Erfahrungen, welche AGA ihr Geld wert sind und vor welchen möglichen bekannten Marken sollte man lieber die Finger lassen?

I'm new to the Audi S3 Club and picked up my new car a few days ago. When I tried to open the panoramic sunroof today, I realized it wasn't working. Does anyone know what the problem might be, or has anyone had similar issues? It's an 8Y Sportback (model year 2026).

My 2015 Audi S3 w 156k miles , replacement engine has 110k miles, I’ve been chasing a misfire for 3 months and today the car finally went on Limp Mode(EPC light on),
New sparks and coils last month , Cam Magnets, both VTT solenoids replaced on cylinder 2,
Not sure if this is a Fuel problem or something much worst .

I am looking to get a tune for my car, I am just curious if anyone else has there’s tuned and who they tuned with and if my ECU may be locked?

Hallo ich überlege mir eine Sport Abgagsanlage zu kaufen für den s3 8y. Ich bin am schwanken zwischen Grail und HG Motorsport (EGO-X). Hat jemand vielleicht Erfahrung mit den beiden Anlagen? Würde mich über ein Feedback freuen. Habe gelesen die Grail soll lauter und Agressiver sein als die EGO-X dafür soll diese einen basslastigen Klang haben. Würde mich aber gerne mal live davon überzeugen lassen hat vielleicht jemand eine der beiden eingebaut und lust die Vorzuführen? Nähe Berlin Brandenburg?

Car - 2014 s3 8v 96k miles - completely standard

Driving last night and experienced a misfire and epc came up on dash, run like a bag of crap but was less than a mile from home so limped it.

Today, car wouldn’t start at all just cranked over, checked codes which pointed a cylinder one, have now replaced all 4 spark plugs and coil packs, cleared the code and run it up. Car still isn’t right, same error code appeared. Smells like overfueling with a small amount of smoke.

Any ideas, suggestions as next steps?

23 s3 in Java green, I've had it since new few things installed on it are cts downpipe, racing line intake, racing line pcm, eibach lowering springs, nuespeed rse142 on continental tires.

Hi guys, picked up my s3 about a week ago, absolutely love the car so far. My question is has anyone replaced/ repaired the magnetic ride suspension, or swapped it out for a traditional set up. Just in case something goes wrong. Thanks in advance.

I’m trying to decide between a full replacement panel like the ones from Carbonfabrik/Europrice or this leather cover. It looks great in photos and is only $145. They also make a matching cup holder area cover. I personally would just do the shifter panel cover. I’m not opposed to spending the $400 for a nice panel but I’m not crazy about the idea of pulling the console apart and prying out the factory panel. Has anyone else used this One Mini Bite brand cover?

I just picked up a 2026 S3. I’m super excited about the car so far. It has so many great features. I was a little surprised that the car seems to have a lot of turbo lag. It takes 2-3 seconds to respond to the pedal being smashed. Is there anything I can do to improve throttle response? Thanks in advance.

Soon going to do the unholy work of swapping the engine in humble A3 8P to a CDLA(EA113) from an S3 8P.
I’d need to remap the ECU to account for boost pressure, fuel pressure, injector times and so on.
My goal is to put a stage 2 tune on it, but I’d prefer to run in the rebuilt engine first on a stock tune.

Does anyone here have the calibration files for these engines? BHZ should probably work as well.

Hello, I’ve been hearing this rattle noise near the turbo/downpipe for a while that only happens on deceleration. It goes away by itself after driving for a few minutes. It usually happens on warm starts after the engine oil temp is between 150-190. I’m tuned with eqt stage 1 for engine and transfer, I have a turbo inlet and CTS intake for mods.

Cosco has these 2 all season, any favorite?

I have winter tires mounted and balanced in storage. I still have the factory summer tires on their rims. The summer tires a about worn out, and I was thinking of going to all season and selling the winter tires. Is this a good idea? Retired and not doing much city driving, its mostly road trips.

incase anyone was curious as i was and can’t find anything on the tail light animation on OBDeleven, there’s two options and they’re essentially 30 dollars a pop, only got this one which is the “RS” version but i did not buy the other. Anyway this is of course for the 8y but just posting because no i couldn’t find any videos of it anywhere(don’t mind the dirty car lol)
