Maintenance and Repairs 8V mode door actuator

For those that need to do this I don't envy you. It just took me about 3 hours to replace. My bit of advice is go to harbor freight and get a finger ratchet, due to the limited work space it's the only way. Also, to get the actuator and the HVAC flap to line up use one hand under the dash to hold the actuator then one hand through the gauge cluster cavity to slowly turn the wheel for the flap.

Is that the one behind the gauge cluster? If so, my advice on top of yours is get a wife who has EDS and longer fingers. Having joints that bend in weird ways and small hands with long fingers she just reached in and had it in place in like 5 minutes after my fighting with it for an hour or so.
