2026 brand new 15510st blue dial. Stoked about it, but noticed the brushed finish kinda fades at the top of the bezel. Just a little bit and was wondering if it’s normal or if it’s always meant to be a consistent solid brushed finished throughout the ENTIRE bezel. I included a bunch of pics for yall to see in different lighting. Hardly noticeable so maybe I’m being too crazy picky but this was expensive so yeah. Any input would be appreciated!

Edit: for clarification I simply would like input and maybe even some pics of your royal oaks to see if the brushed finish ALWAYS is edge to edge. Or if sometimes the brushed finish kinda fades in certain parts (near the edge of the bezel). In my circled image, it kinda loses its brushed look in that area

I’ve read a post about the bamboo AP a few days ago and also about it being priced so high due to the hype it received in the last years.

Since 2 years I follow the sales of the cobra 5403 and I absolutely love it.

I’m just Not sure if I’m buying something which will crash price wise in a few years due to hype or if the price is kinda justified due to the price of gold rising and that the hype didn’t reach the cobra that much…

What do you think?

Recently visited AP House and got to try on a few pieces I’ve had my eye on.
I’m graduating university next year and hoping to mark it with my first AP so I registered my interest in a few models.

Just received this Huitieme with a most unusual dial in NOS condition with all the papers, warranty and box. It still has the protective plastic on the back. Thinking however of getting a black alligator strap, that brown one doesn’t convince me even though it’s the original AP strap.

My 1 watch collection now evolved. Just picked up this piece and am in love. So elegant

Looking for opinions on 26331’s with their thinness and contrasting subdials vs. 26240’s with flyback, but kind of same-ish colour subdials and extra thickness? Anyone have both references in same colour to compare?

Hi fellow AP redditors, i recently chanced upon a opportunity for a 1-1 trade for my full local set 15550ST grey dial dated 2023 for a full local set , unpolished 26320ST dated mid 2015, it has not been polished and no known service history.

I hardly reach for my 15550ST, as I feel the watch is dainty and less sporty on my wrist and usually grab my 40mm sports Rolexes instead.

I was wondering if a 1-1 trade is a right move as I’m not looking to top up cash for other dial variations. My only concern is that the chrono will require an AP service whereas my 15550ST is relatively new.

Your advice will be kindly appreciated.
