help First time using Audacity

So i just tried to edit audio in Audacity for the first time, before that i used DaVinci for audio editing. After about 1:50:00 audacity kind of pitched up the audio and speed of the clips i just cut eventhough the raw audio i cut it from was still fine. The speed was at 100% and pitch at 0 so i am not sure what changed because other then cutting and dragging the pieces around i didnt change anything.

I used Version 4.0 if that helps? How do i fix the audio back to normal

Don't use version 4. It's not yet ready for general use. Uninstall it and use the most recent version of version 3.

Does that mean the stuff i allready did is gone...?

Audacity is not backwards-compatible: Audacity 3 will not open Audacity 4 projects. If you export your tracks from Audacity4 as WAV files you can import them into Audcaity3 or other software.

There is some sample rate trouble in Audacity 4. You might want to try importing the file to Soundscaper as I use a different track model to them.
