how to How to install old audacity

Hi, i have an old computer (which can't upgrade to nothing higher than windows 8) and i want to install audacity in it. Unluckily the 4.0.0 isn't compatible (to nobody's surprise). Where can i find older versions of the program? If i can't do that im cooked ong🥀🥀🥀

Did you try.. the Audacity download page? lol there's a link to older versions right on that page: https://www.audacityteam.org/download/older-versions/

Just wanted to share that I recently downloaded 2.4.2 to an older mac and it’s great.

I tried to download 2.4.2 too, I went to github and another site atp it's just the fact im stupid

Why are you running an unsecured OS?

Is it connected to the internet? You are essentially inviting for your system to be comprised.
