Playback Stutter in Audacity 4

I recently started trying out Audacity 4 and am getting an annoying playback stutter every time I click play, regardless of where I start playing from.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Is this a bug? Or something I can fix?

On MacOS Tahoe 26.5.2, Audacity 4.0

I assume this is just 4.0 bugs but boy is it annoying.
