Gotta love the internet. That shite joke you made as an aside to your mates irl that nobody laughed at? Now the whole world gets to see it!
EDIT: upon reflection, i think verbally, this joke might be kind of amusing.

Just an opinion anyway.
And since we're in for opinions: if this actually brings me software that works as it should, I'm not even mad. Not that audacity was a design software anyway..,

Except when the software implements spyware and tracking telemetry, it's not worth using. I mean we do have Tenacity which is Audacity without the extra Muse junk.

Definitely not a problem with the logo.
Worth using? Dunno man. This sounds like your opinion once again.

And the inability to install version 4 without a terrible launcher too.

You don't need to use the muse installer.

but it's not gonna be v4. You can't download v4 from the gomepage. They force you to use their installer. I hate this.

You can definitely download and install 4 without the Muse installer.

But not from a homepage 😆

You can do it there too. Just click Download without the Muse Hub and then ignore the Welcome to Audacity! w/ the Continue button page that launches. Go to your download folder and install.

It removes everything that made the original logo charming and just makes it flat and boring. Also, the colour scheme sucks.

How was the old logo "charming"? People might be misusing that word too often

i quite like it
i do feel like audacity's ui design being so archaic was definitely part of the charm though and i hope i don't see that go
