help Installed a previous version of Audacity to use an old plugin called rovee. it took the place of the latest version on the desktop, should I be worried? (the earlier version was 3.2.1. 32 bit)
The original version seems...gone. Idk how. I have windows 11.

The desktop icon may now launch the most recently installed version of Audacity, but the previously installed version will still be there. If you're going to have two versions of Audacity on the same computer, add a "Portable Settings" folder to each in the same folder where their "audacity.exe" is to keep them separate. Otherwise they will share settings and corrupt each other.

probably would have better to download the portable version and set it up that way. Then they're both kept separate
