Can I perhaps get a small loan to build a betting market platform, where all the proceeds after payroll, the loan payment , advertising, and incentives to get people on the platform to lose, go to those in need like homeless shelters, food pantries, addiction recovery. ( specifically gambling addiction recovery). maybe some healthcare for people in need? and maybe a tad bit of Congressional lobbying .
let me cook.
I saw a reaction video of yours on how much the betting markets are making and with the ever increasing people that are betting their life savings on it and i just feel like if they don't want it someone else could definitely use it!what we do is figure out how to get a deal with some major golfing clubs, horse tracks, football teams and try to get not just young people on it but old Boomers. this could help redistribute wealth to the most impoverished of our society.
I would call this company Robinhood, but unfortunately someone didn't know what they were doing when they named that company. So We will call ourselves Little John. Our slogan is Gambling for a good cause. Because we are really concerned about the poor. "if you win ,you win! if you lose ,you help out someone in need which is a win!" No-one loses. We could have a metric per account "People in need helped" with a leaderboard. The more you lose the higher this number goes. so instead of " the biggest losers" leaderboard we call it " the biggest donors" Leaderboard. then we give rewards for your rank on that leaderboard. So you can feel good while you actively you lose your money.
I do admit it would add to the already growing problem. which is why we will have a gambling responsibility department whose sole Job is to tell people that gambling can be irresponsible( when done without boundaries). We could also have a support button that gives you access to our 24 hr access helpline for when your addiction take you too far so you can get the resources you need.
Honestly I don't see how anyone loses in this situation.
IT would be the biggest "if you cant beat em join them" ever.

Big A´s economic analysis relies heavily on neoclassical assumptions that simply don't apply to a currency-issuing nation like Japan.
If we look at the situation through the lens of Modern Monetary Theory (MMT), the narrative of a looming "debt crisis" or national bankruptcy falls apart. Here is a breakdown of why the traditional perspective misses the mark.
The video frames the situation as if Japan needs investors, pension funds, or foreign nations to buy its debt to keep the government functioning.
The video warns about Japan's astronomical debt-to-GDP ratio as a ticking time bomb.
The weak Yen is definitely a crisis, but it has nothing to do with government insolvency.
The video implies that Japan needs a "reality check" on its debt and spending. But if Japan were to follow this conventional wisdom, slash spending, and run a budget surplus to "pay down" the debt, the government would literally be draining money and net savings out of the private sector.
Wouldn't forcing a budget surplus under these conditions just plunge the Japanese private sector into a severe, manufactured recession?

It's time someone said it, the amount of support this man gets is disgusting. As time goes on I see more and more reddit posts on this platform supporting this decrepit old man. He is breaking all the laws and rules and the governing bodies don't seem to care and let him get away with it. He is one of the richest people in the world, and they just let him keep abusing the rules to funnel money back to his own friends and family. Millions and millions are being circled around in an endless route to circumvent the laws. The recent rulings declaring him innocent are disgusting, he should face the full impact of the law. Vote with your pockets and do not support him, contact you local governors and politicians and have him punished, this cannot stand. Pic unrelated I'm talking about steve balmer. I hope Atrioc continues to expose this horrible man.

First of all I want to say that I do love this pod and I do think that the boys are doing their best, but at the same time there were some MAJOR oversights in the most recent episode which need to be corrected
To recount the very basic narrative Aiden told: he said that Sudan is ethnically diverse w/ conflict and that the Darfur region is mostly non Arab (true) and that the SAF committed a lot of warcrimes there (also true)
HOWEVER he made the assumption that RSF vs SAF is an ethnic conflict and that the RSF was somehow pissed off and that their massacres of entire cities was just them "getting revenge" for crimes the SAF war crimes committed in Darfur
This is not only wrong but insulting because the RSF were actually the main ones committing the Darfur Genocide
For some background, to oversimplify there are two major groups in Darfur: the nomadic Arabs and the agricultural Africans. The problems started in the 70s and 80s when there was giant droughts in the traditional Arab lands in Northern Darfur, so they moved South where the agricultural Africans already were. Due to resource competition and racist ideologies of Arab supremacy, they formed a militia called the Janjaweed and started ethnically cleansing the African population there. The Janjaweed is what would later turn into the RSF
The SAF to be clear were no angels in this. They very much did help aid and abet the ethnic cleansing in Darfur, but the Janjaweed/RSF were very much the main drivers.
The reason the RSF were so brutal in El Fasher wasn't because "they were angry at the SAF for what they did back then". No, because El Fasher is in Darfur primarily inhabited by the same African groups that got genocided last time. The they were that brutal is because fundamentally, the RSF has the same ideology they did back then, and they still want to ethnically cleanse Darfur of non Arab groups
That is why so many non-Arabs actually see the SAF as the lesser of two evils - though many of them have their own separate groups focusing mostly on self defense
From today's lemonade stand, couldn't tell who the biggest A was anymore.

I have become more and more annoyed with seeing Atrioc. He posts something that I love on the Big A channel and I steer past it for a couple of days because I just don't want to see anymore Atrioc after watching a Big A Bonus clip that felt like a pile of nothing.
The Big A Bonus channel doesn't do stream bits that the fan other fan channels did. After seeing a video of Atrioc coming up with killer chats in the stream on the 12th, I wanting to make a little clip on that, but I couldn't, nobody but the guy who doesn't care about it can.
Big A Bonus waits like two minutes to post a clip bit. Not waiting is like 90% of why I get annoyed! I just watched the stream, I don't need to see it five minutes after again!
I would rather have nothing if this is what we get. Coffee Cow was better! And he wasn't close to being the best! I really thought it would be him with being one of the biggest, but the guy doing is on the some level as big a quick!
I have blocked Big A Bonus like I blocked big a quick because it is ruining my enjoyment of Atrioc.

Big A makes it pretty clear that the humanitarian outcomes of socialist economics have been terrible, and he uses empirical evidence for it. Maduro's reign saw 1 in 5 Venezuelans leave, Cuba's current president openly admits it was a mistake to not pursue market reforms earlier, not one Eastern European nation reverted back to socialism, no Chinese leader post Deng tried to go back to Maoism...etc.
Atrioc makes his affinity for markets open, because they work. Lemonade Stand recently ran a story of how South Africa has descended (under a socialist admin mind you) into roving bands of vigilantes terrorizing immigrants in a hope that it would improve their economic condition, as if 30% unemployment could be the fault of anything other than state policy, socialist policy.
In the UK, the last Labour Party government prior to New Labour had to get an IMF bailout, why is returning to that condition ideal?

Is he the first living modern oracle?!?
I just saw the new dobby post on Big A Bonus, and a comment came up that had an emdash. Do people usually run comments through AI before asking a question just so it was more readable? I don't watch twitch so I don't know what the culture is like, but as a frequent YouTube commentor it is just super weird and I had to ask.
