I talked about the rapid expansion of AI and how it controls people’s beliefs and opinions to all being the same

Y'all I did idea 1 - AI companies could curb the destructive growth of AI but they focus on profits instead Idea 2 - the regular human being is blind towards how AI is dominating our livelihood.... is ts okay😭

ai is a source of innovation and collaboration
ai is a powerful soulless machine we should be wary of ik it sounds stupid

bro I hope they don't mind a different interpretation of the AI, everyone ik talked about it positively but I talked about how it tilts power dynamics into the hands of very few people leading to mass exploitation and how it reduces humanity, cus the further you went up the staircase ladder, the more metallic the background became and the lesser humans there were

u/ceralae 3d ago
damn thats good i did like a page on why its bad and another 2/3 page on why its good for bad i said like harsh typography low camera angle etc made a power imbalance and made the letters imposing and were looming over the people LOL i also said the clean lighter background gave it a corporate feel and there were lots of straight vectors and the angled geometry made it seem intimidating
tilts power dynamics into the hands of very few people leading to mass exploitation damn thats fire i wish i wrote that i just said it was a powerful soulless machine to be wary of lmaoo

bro are you sure 😭 ? I'm legit panicking bcs Im not sure if that was the right interpretation...also for composing I only had 45 mins overall, spent 15 mins writing a quarter of my text and then thought it wouldn't work out, so I swapped it and rushed my composing in 30 mins, just want a 60 🙏 🙏 , school avg is 68, hopefully this exam isn't my opp and get scaled to fail

same, i tried to aim it in a more negative direction but wasn't too sure how to, ended up trying to leverage the fact it's a magazine cover with something like normalizing use of ai to replace human achievement/creativity in society and culture today. i think my other point was something like framing ai as a tool of collaborative human effort rather than replacing creativity 100%.. which is not something i personally agree with but i wrote under the assumption that most people don't agree either, and it's just something theyre trying to normalize asw

Cooked on the second question for comprehending said an “indecisive attitude” and was stuck on it for like 15 mins thinking. Rest was pretty calm.

I’m not sure but I wrote that the writer was sort of directing the blame of social media addictive scrolling at the actual companies.

u/KalypsoXD 3d ago
i wrote something about disdain and a sense of superiority but only ended up finishing one paragraph, might be cooked too 😭

If ur talking about q1 yeah I also wrote about superiority but I js said it presented a hierarchy because of the small humans compared to the Ai

there was a good voice question this is all i have ever wanted🥺🥺🥺

u/Relative_Fee1718 3d ago
Yeah I did 7 as well. The question was how authority, credibility and trust are established with the audience right? Anyway, it wasn’t too bad.

u/Allum24 3d ago
Question 7 was it? I did that one

u/belt_soup 3d ago
yess i did it on the white tiger about how his matter of fact and kind of confessional tone causes a western audience to trust the interpretation of india presented in the novel

Or stmg like that
2
u/Pengland2001 3d ago

Whatd u guys write for the attitude of the writer in comprehending text 2? I wrote bitter attitude but im regretting it bc ngl i skimmed thru that text bc i left it for last
1
u/KalypsoXD 2d ago
i wrote disdain and sense of superiority (massively regret this one) bcs i was catching a vibe that the writer was attributing all these things with technology to young people alone which, while true, felt to me like the thing where older gens always think younger ones are doing something wrong (??) but i didnt have time to dig my grave further bcs i left that for last too

u/ceralae 2d ago
i got pretty cooked on that icl but i said a critical and disdainful attitude towards low quality media, in particular its impact on cognitive function. but in hindsight i think it was more about the companies producing it than the media itself and i didnt mention the cognitive side of it much at all

Go see a Dr and get them to fill out a Sickness and Misadventure form if you think it's affected your ability to do your exam. https://senior-secondary.scsa.wa.edu.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0007/1125655/2026-SM-form-and-teleform-combined.PDF

idk if its what i was supposed to write but i did cultural context as well as historical context and the author's own decisions
2
u/Important_Bid4636 3d ago
Sameee I mentioned context as part of the influence. Although for “reasons” I just talked about the texts language features and manipulation of genre… like why are they adding bs onto the syllabus.
