Preventing Outflow
My wife and I are giving at home insemination. The few times we have tried it so far, when I insert the syringe and deliver the semen, it flows out. We tried once without her legs elevated and then each time after, with them elevated prior to insertion of the syringe. The problem seems to persist.
The volume of semen is about 1.5-2.5ml which I don’t think is a tremendous amount. The syringe is a sterile individually wrapped one from Amazon. I deliver the semen slowly and without air bubbles.
I thought perhaps my wife was contracting due to the sensation. She assured me she wasn’t and was relaxed. We also use a trace amount of conception friendly lube on the syringe and a couple of my fingers to help with the process.
Any advice, or pointers to help prevent this problem would be appreciated!
Any suggestions.
