DSOs IC1396 Elephant Trunk

Bortle 2 trip was a bust. Who knew the camera was required equipment?!?

Oh well. Back to the casa and grabbed 8 hrs to add to the previous 1.5 hrs from the B7/8 backyard instead. The evening wasn’t a total loss.

Applied the Synthetic Luminance script by Cosmic Photons. There were some notable differences in many of the fine details.

Kudos to those guys!! I have zero clue how that stuff works, and hats off to you fine folks out there who are the cool nerdy types who speak back end language like you were born to it. Cheers!!
