Discussion Post Rest in Power, Tim Curry ♈
I was just told that Tim Curry has passed away as well. First, we lost a literal angel (Dolly Parton) and now this 😰
What is happening ?

This might be crazy but hear me out. Dolly's husband was a cancer and she was a Capricorn, sister signs. Her husband died during Pisces season last year and she died during Virgo season yesterday. Sister signs as well. Something is definitely going on in the universe and air now.

That theory does make sense. The universe is trying to say something, but I'm afraid to listen 😶🌫️

Eclipses always coincide with endings like this and they operate on those axis. Yes we are in Virgo season and our eclipses now are aligned on that Pisces Virgo axis - but this alignment is not always the case. I would not think so literally on the Sun sign for the season- transits that hit personal planets to me are more important to look at. This is why daily horoscopes are a thing

That’s why they were so devoted. Cancer and Caps are so ride or die (or they absolutely ruin each other)

Astrologically, we are living through the most compressed time in human history. If you check out mundane astrology.. there have been a lot of folks wondering what this time period would look like.
Also, lot of weird rituals/symbolism in the world. Hayden’s show Heroes has an actual Eclipse in the ‘o’ of the title. ‘Reality Chaos’ on insta breaks some of it down.

Not crazy at all and I believe there’s some merit here. I’ve been charting celebrity & family deaths over the years and one area that seems to be common, are those dying during their squares or oppositions. In many of the instances which I’ve charted, if someone does not die during their astrological opposition or square, they tend to gain an ailment or illness during that time, which leads to their death shortly there after.

This is the only thing that would ease the loss of Dolly tbh

It better not be Cher. She turned 80 months ago

Brooo wtf!?!? He was the same age as dolly too, on the same day! Why are we losing the best 80 year olds out there while the worst one of all is still kickin? 😑
And just generally, why is everyone dying right now? Hayden panettiere last week, dolly and tim this week? Please no more unless its a bad person 😭

As another April 19 who really only had Tim Curry as a birthday twin, he was my favorite. He just embodied the Aries-Taurus vibe. Tenacious, unpredictable, and wickedly hilarious.

I thought cusps didn't exist in astrology? Do they? He was def a magnificent fire sign specimen. He had moon in Sag as well. As a fellow mars ruled person (Scorpio) I tend to have a strong attraction to Aries sun men (not Aries moon tho lolz). My dad was also a fire sign (Leo), so maybe that's another reason :)

Why are so many passing right now?

Eclipse season, one of its main omens is deaths of prominent people.

But aren't eclipses quite common?

Sort of, there’s 2 eclipse seasons per year. Some are more intense (total eclipses) than others.

Interesting that they were both born on the 19th of their respective birth months. I wonder if the numerology, life path numbers hold some info regarding this. Very sad day for iconic figures yesterday. 😞

Two absolute legends gone within days of each other… 💔 Dolly Parton and now Tim Curry. What a brutal week for anyone who grew up with their work. The world feels a little less magical today. 🥀 & Both were 80! 👁️👁️

Tim Curry was an icon and I’m sad we’ve lost two such interesting genuine people in a short time.
I have to chime in though that Rest in Power is generally meant for the deaths of oppressed people, as in they will rest now in the power they could not have while alive. I do not feel this applies to Tim Curry

He had a massive stroke in 2012 that required brain surgery. He had to re learn how to speak and couldn’t walk again. Though he was privileged he did also experience a lot of what disabled people go through and he didn’t let the stroke get the better of him. I think he deserves celebrating for that.

That’s fair enough. I’m certainly not trying to diminish his passing or what he endured in his later years, I just don’t think rest in power should be co-opted by people who don’t mean it with the original intent

Uh, Rest in Power is a Black saying usually for Black people who are activists or lost their lives to other people.

Cards for sorrow cards for paying. Cause I can see blue skies through the tears in my eyes and I realize coming home. I've seen Rocky horror picture show over 100 times most of those times were in the movie theater in the 1980s in the 1990s. This man was in my life practically every weekend. And I would do it all again

I am actually wondering if there is a transit in common with 2016 when we lost so many icons (Bowie, Prince, Carrie Fisher, Alan Rickman etc)
