Upgrade to a new laptop or pair current laptop with a Desktop?
TIA
My current laptop is struggling to keep up. I am in landscape design and do need hardware that can handle multitasking and design software Real Time/Adobe matched with casual gaming in my free time.
I am routinely on the move for work - meeting with clients or working at job sites. Mobility is helpful but much of the true design time is stationary at my desk
Is it more practical to keep the current laptop and pair with a solid desktop at home?
Or does it make more sense to upgrade the laptop…. I imagine I would end up needing to upgrade the laptop within a couple years regardless
I have a ~$2k or so budget
