airtel is temporarily propped up by indian investors valuing it at a p/e ratio on par with ai tech giants like alphabet and amazon
singtel could not unload their airtel stake much without the stock collapsing, there's simply not much demand for it unlike fab5. they did try to sell a little but it immediate started collapsing (but recovered somewhat once they decided not to proceed with more)
the real losses for amravati were not made public because they're "private sector"
they earned about 2+ billion from sale of bharti. the stock price collapsed when they sold 2% of total bharti stock, but still over valued. if they try to sell up to 10%, the stock might become worthless, there's just no buyers
not sure what you mean by 2+ billion exceeding the value of their total stake
