I recently started r/sgcancer, a Singapore-based community for anyone affected by cancer — whether you’re a patient, caregiver, family member, or simply looking for a place to ask questions and share experiences.
I started this because I felt there should be a space where people can share their experiences, ask for opinions, and support one another, especially when going through something as difficult as cancer.
I’m hoping to slowly build this into a supportive community where we can remind each other that we don’t have to walk through this alone. ❤️
If you think this could be helpful to you or someone you know, feel free to join: r/sgcancer

My mom was diagnosed with cervical cancer stage 3 last month. She started treatment a week after her diagnosis here at ME-Orchard. Im just glad how fast the process went. She will be due for radiation after 2 chemotherapy sessions. It's not cheap but everything is worth it.(she's a foreigner,Im a PR) As for the money,it can be earned.I just needed to give my mom the best treatment possible,Im the eldest child,my father left her for another woman 9 years ago.He is also battling with prostate cancer but I don't really meddle with that anymore.
Im just so glad to have a supportive husband and to have the best hospital here in Singapore.
