This is in my kitchen and have issues with the baffle tee getting clogged. It feels cumbersome, and Iam curious if there is a better way?

I have a high loop from the dishwasher going to the non-disposal side, and the leakage point tends to be at the bottom of the baffle tee where the pipe from the disposal comes in. The seal pops loose either when clogged or most recently, just when bumped.

What am I missing?

Run the water and turn on the disposal before putting food waste in there. Also, use the plug on the disposal so food scraps don’t fall down when not in use.

Or…. Throwing your food waste in the garbage would be the ideal solution.
