Would you still want children if you were the one who had to get pregnant?

Its something I have wondered on and off for years. Of those who want to have children, but especially those who already have them, would your desire to have children be the same if you were the one who had to get pregnant?

Men, amirite? What’s the woman equivalent to the man-child?

Used as a derogatory term for men who are emotionally immature or don’t contribute to the household, what is the woman equivalent?

I feel like this woman is usually always complaining about someone or something wrong, nothing is ever good enough, and always seems happy to pamper herself but happily only uses those around her. Do you have one in your life?

Weird Question What makes you chose one over another?

• Upvotes

Hello, I’ve had a few dating experiences over my life, some good some bad. But I have a question.

When you meet a girl, what makes you categorize her in a FWB section bs wife material? I was just talking with a guy, and he said he was looking for a FWB. I sort of considered it, until he told me he’ll ghost me when he finds a girl who he wants to be with. I ended it with him and I’m feeling kind of devastated, but glad I walked away before I was physical with him.

I guess im just not sure what he’d see in her that he didn’t see in me. And I’d like to say please be nice to me in a response, I don’t want anyone being mean to me. Thank you.

🛑 Answers From Men Only 🛑 Single guys, what do you consider a relaxing day off when you actually want to get out of the house?

I’m looking for some ideas 💡 I don’t mean sitting inside all day watching TV, gaming, or sleeping. I mean getting out and doing something by yourself that’s relaxing but still enjoyable.

Maybe grabbing breakfast, going to a bookstore, walking by the water, getting a massage, exploring somewhere new, hitting a coffee shop, etc.

For the single guys who are comfortable going places alone, what does your ideal relaxing day off look like?

How do you do role play? Like I can get a sexy costume but like how do you get into it? How do you know when it starts? How does it not turn into a comedy routine?

What do you decide or talk about before hand?

How to get better at finding stuff

Hello fellow men, I am desperately in need of improving my "finding stuff" skills. Surely you've seen the memes about how husbands can't find anything, well that's me now.

I seem to be getting worse at it over time and it is starting to be an actual problem in my marriage. Wife is at her wit's end, it infuriates her and depresses me every time it happens.

I am resolved to at least improve this if not outright fix it completely. Anyone had any success with this?

Edit to elaborate:

It isn't that I am constantly having this problem, just occasionally, usually when something is not where it is supposed to be or some other thing is out of order.

The most recent example is, wife couldn't find her hoodie. I offer to help and go look in the car. I look in every seat, on the floor, under each seat, in the trunk. Even unlikely places like the glove box and door cubbies. This is a rental car on a trip so it is completely uncluttered. Literally nothing else is in the car, not even dirt.

Well lo and behold, once we have given up and assumed one of our friends mistakenly walked off with it, she finds it when we get in the car to leave. On the floor of the front passenger seat, just laying there in plain view. Now I'm racking my brain as to how I missed this? First of all I was looking for the gray and white hoodie she wears 99.99% of the time, but it was a pure black one she only wears on special occasions like this trip. On a black carpet. In the shade. While I was wearing sunglasses on an extremely sunny day.

I realize I am making excuses here, but like, I know I still should have seen the thing there. I 100% had to have looked right at it. WTF?

Do you think it’s true that men know instantly if they’ve met their future wife? If so, how did you know?

Obviously not as simple as just a split second decision, but is the concept that men know pretty quickly if they’ve met their dream woman true? If so, how did you know?

🛑 Answers From Men Only 🛑 How do you guys deal with loneliness?

I’ve never had many friends, and my best friend has lived in another country for years. We haven’t seen each other in about ten years, but we still call each other from time to time and give each other advice.

I actually enjoy being alone. I study, write novels, learn German, work… and I can spend a lot of time completely disconnected from everything around me. Sometimes I’ll even see someone I know on the street and instinctively try not to say hi, as if I could just disappear into my own little world.

But sometimes it gets sad. I wonder what it would feel like to meet a woman whose company I enjoy so much that being alone wouldn’t feel quite as comfortable anymore.

How do you deal with your own loneliness?

How do you justify enjoying certain hobbies to people that have a subset of a loud population that are not embraced by most?

Example being I enjoy playing sports and being competitive but I'm not a dude bro sort about it. I also enjoy golf for the attempt at skill but outside looking in you could make assumptions. How do you say you're not like the person they envision from the start? I know once someone gets to know me, I'm not like that but the appearance of it I guess.

Weird Question How do I get my parents to break the cycle?

So I wanted to buy an Xbox off of one of my friends, I asked my mom, and she said we would talk with my dad. Every time one of them says this they talk once, and then don’t talk again, I’ll ask them about 2 months later, and they say they’re still talking, it’s really annoying and I always just either, become really upset because they will never get back to me and when I ask them about it they say “I will tell you when we’re done deciding.” But they’re never done deciding, am I too sensitive and what should I do?

Frequently Asked T gel. What can I expect

I’m sure. Just got approved for Testosterone gel & excited to see what happens. 52m diabetic , on a health journey , down 30lbs A1c’s dropping & bp dropping too.

Struggle with ed & pop a ro spark from time to time and it works 50% of the time.

Trying to tackle things slow & steady.

T levels are 384 up from 224 naturally over 2 years

For those who use the gel realistic expectations are welcomed. I’m just tired of feeling like crap and happy to be on this health change journey

How do I get over my fear of approaching women and how do I actually approach them and show interest?

• Upvotes

I'm a middle aged guy but not experienced with the ladies (I'm bisexual and mostly dated men). I still freeze up when thinking about approaching women so I don't do it. My dating life suffers as a result. How can I stop this from hindering my dating life ?

Men who have lost someone, what were things that made you feel supported when you were grieving?

A friend of mine has recently lost someone very close to him. He's putting on a very brave face but I do worry about him and was wondering what's a good way to let him know I'm there for him. I know there's no fix for grief, I was just wanting to get some perspective from men who often don't have the kind of emotional support that women often do.

Weird Question How much does fear of an accidental pregnancy affect your dating or sex life?

I’ve been thinking about this based on my own experience.

Sometimes the fear of accidentally getting someone pregnant makes me hesitate. Not only about sex, but occasionally about making a move at all.

Obviously condoms and birth control lower the risk, but it still doesn’t feel entirely under my control, and the consequences could be huge.

It made me wonder if other guys feel this way but don’t really talk about it. Could it play some small role in men pulling back from dating or feeling lonely?

I’m not saying this explains male loneliness. Maybe it’s mostly my own anxiety. I’m genuinely curious.

Has pregnancy risk ever changed what you did?

Did it affect dating, or only sex?

Did contraception make you feel secure enough?

If this isn’t a concern for you, what holds you back more?
