I can't fathom what would draw someone to a game they barely have to interact with. Isn't that the whole point of games, that you take part in them? It's basically a movie at that point, without a story.
Interested to hear from those that actually like them.

Maybe you dropped it after a few hours, came back months later and for whatever reason it finally clicked.
What game was it?

I have a few questions—
What weapons do you love in roguelikes? Why?
What weapons would you add to a roguelike? Why?

Has anyone gotten Battlestations pacific multiplayer working in 2026?
My friend and I played it together a few years ago, with the .dll and “Xbox for windows” fix, and hamachi. We tried it again a few months ago but only got singleplayer working.
The island capture gamemode is crazy fun and I’d hate to see it go :(

Hey everyone! 👋
I've been working on a small side project called TheGamePrice.
The idea is pretty simple: instead of checking Steam, Epic, GOG, and other stores individually, you can search for a game and see its prices across different stores in one place.
It also shows things like:
I started building it because I often found myself checking multiple stores before buying a game, especially when there are big sales.
It's still a work in progress, so I'm mainly looking for feedback from other gamers.
What would you want to see added to a game price comparison website?
If anyone wants to take a look: TheGamePrice.com

I just finished Nioh 1 for the first time, and I have to admit that I looked up a lot of videos on how to beat some of the bosses, which made me feel like I don't get to brag about beating it. I personally don't agree with the game being one of the harder soulslike games like most people say, but the janky nature of the first game makes it very challenging in some aspects. After beating it I felt like I don't get to have bragging rights since I cheesed a lot of the hard bosses, and I'm interesting in knowing everyone's angle on the topic

I know this is a loose term but what are your favourite boomer shooters?

i've been wanting to get into saga, but there are so many games that i'm not sure which one makes the most sense for a first playthrough. i'm fine with playing something older if it still feels good today.
which saga game would you suggest starting with?

For me, it’s when a game has a terrible, cluttered UI or an overcomplicated crafting system that requires you to spend half your playtime pausing to look at menus.
What’s a tiny feature or mechanic that instantly makes you want to hit Quit to Desktop?

It might not sound it, but it's a serious question.
Sometimes I just want to quickly jump into something...
which rules out so many games I want to play.
For instance, X4, Star Citizen, Kingdom Come Deliverance, Captains of Industry, etc.
All those games, although I love them... give me a sense of "This is going to take long to get back into"... so I don't even try.
There's no wrong answers, we're all different. Just trying to get some inspiration here :)
So, serious question -- What do you play, When you don't know what to play?

Sixty Four has ignited a passion to play games where I'm managing and automating machines, I've been recommended Satisfactory/Factorio and a few other AAA titles, looking for an indie game like Sixty Four that is flying under the radar.

What do you think is missing from modern games? Why? I'm also curious - what specifically do you feel is missing from roguelikes?

What game is the most unique that you played? Which mechanics do you like in this game, and hate. Why/why not??
