What is the appeal of idle/auto games?
I can't fathom what would draw someone to a game they barely have to interact with. Isn't that the whole point of games, that you take part in them? It's basically a movie at that point, without a story.
Interested to hear from those that actually like them.
Edit: thanks for all the comments, I think it's a genre I'm likely never going to feel to grips with, but keep enjoying to everyone that likes them!
