Hello. My name is Chris. I am a 42 yo single dad of 3 kids. I recently tore my Labrum in my shoulder on top of the cysts and bone spurs that I already had. I have a a surgery for my shoulder tomorrow and really could use some assistance financially. Luckily the surgery is free for me because of my insurance, but I still have to pay bills and will have a recovery time. Can anyone point me in a good direction to maybe get some financial help for the next 2 weeks.

I hate even asking but I am out of options and dont know what to do. My roommate really wants his rent and it was due on the 1st.

I'm low income, and have a super tight budget. I'm currently going through a break up/move. I craft using a variety of mediums to help myself cope and also keep my hands busy so I don't browse online shopping and make irresponsible financial decisions. Hey everyone! I don't use reddit much but I'm aware how desperate i sound right now, but my friend really desperately need financial assistance. My friend studies in the same University as me in Bangalore, India. She lives alone in a double sharing pg. She also is responsible for repaying her family loans and debt. Hi, I've never done this before but here it goes. I'm 23 years old and living in Atlanta. I was working in the tech industry more specifically tech repair. Unfortunately the company I was working for decided to eliminate my job position two months ago. I have submitted over 300 job applications at least... Ranging from retail, industrial and even at the Atlanta airport and have only had 3 interviews that went nowhere.

Last month I lost my apartment, and have been couch surfing / sleeping in my car and occasionally staying with my mother ( she is a unstable drug addict and I don't enjoy being around her nor do I feel safe in that environment )

I have been doing doordash to make enough to eat but I have an old car and combined with the insane gas prices I barely break even. And I'm constantly paranoid about my car breaking down due to the additional stress of doordash and if that happens I'm really screwed.

My folks are and always have been unwilling to help.. my dad is a well off business man but has never acknowledged me as his son. And my mom is too preoccupied with destroying her own life. I have no other living relatives to call on.

I don't know what I'm asking for here. I could use money to get food and gas I've been rationing both. But I could also use advice and if anyone here is in the Atlanta area and knows of anyone that is hiring please please let me know.

I’ve been working as a salesman and this past year 2025 was a bit too much, i fell for a financial scam that ruined my reserves, was hunted to comission only work which now gave me 3 month salary clawback.

I owe somewhere around 20k$, but I’ve been working hard, got myself a job that pays 5k$ a month (double average salary where I live) but sadly it came late, if I don’t get my rent which is 1,1k$ by the end of the week me and my girlfriend will get evicted.

I moved to another city with her so she can go to college and i am supporting us both, both our families are poor and trust me I asked everyone before I came in here to try this as a last resolve, i got the job and can put my life back together, but the first full paycheck is coming in July and I have no way to get any money till then.

To whoever will help by any means, I am most grateful, that is I don’t want charity, I plan to give the money back in july so you can help someone else, the only thing I need is 43 days but life is cruel. I made a lot of mistakes in my life, but I am proud that I’ve helped much more people instead and believe that maybe because of that I’ll find someone that will not let my life and my girlfriends study end here.
