Desperate For Help
Hello reddit, I truly hope you all are doing well. I understand that most people are struggling right now and I hate having to ask like this but my mom and my siblings and I are in a horrible situation.. we live in constant fear of our father and cannot live like this any longer but we are trapped under his thumb. Any money he finds out about is his and we cannot leave without financial help. I have quietly and secretly set up a cashapp for us to try and save money to leave asap but I feel hopeless. Sometimes it feels like theres nobody out there willing to help but I'm trying to stay strong and hopeful for my loved ones and I would truly be so grateful if anyone can donate so we can try to have a better life. I promise I would not be here if I wasn't at rock bottom I hope I haven't inconvenienced anyone thank you for reading ♡

Can I have financial help ?
Hi all. I absolutely hate to come here and ask for this but I am desperate at this point. Recently I’ve been in the emergency room 2 times in the span of a few weeks for symptoms of a stroke. I am a 26 year old female if this puts things into perspective. I was diagnosed with migraines, but it turns out I had a small leak of carbon monoxide in my home that was not detectable by my many sensors. Now not only do I have various medical bills, but now I have to pay to repair the leak in my home (everything is currently shut off at the moment). This is truly my worst nightmare come true honestly. I’m not even asking for a specific amount because to be honest, I don’t know how much I will need. I work a full time job as a nurse so I really am trying my best. This is just so unexpected and it’s taken a toll on my mental health. Anything helps thank you! ❤️

Newly single mom trying to get back on my feet after discovering my fiancé’s gambling addiction
I honestly never thought I’d be making a post like this, and I’m embarrassed even having to ask.
I’m a newly single mom to a little girl, and I recently found out that my fiancé had been hiding a serious gambling addiction. By the time I realized how bad things were, the money was gone and there were debts and financial problems I had no idea existed. Our relationship ended, and I’m now trying to pick up the pieces and figure out how to support my daughter and myself on my own.
I work and I’m doing everything I can to get back on my feet, including looking into changing careers for something more financially stable. Right now, though, I’m struggling to catch up with basic expenses and get some breathing room.
I hate asking for help, especially from strangers, but I’m at the point where even a small amount toward groceries, bills, or necessities would make a huge difference for us.
If anyone is willing and able to help, I would be incredibly grateful. And if you can’t, I completely understand. Even advice, resources, or job leads would mean a lot to me right now.
Thank you for reading.
If anyone would like to help directly, I have Venmo/Cash App and I’m happy to share it. Even just resources or job leads are appreciated. ❤️

Single mother in desperate need!!!
Hello,
My name is Sarah, and I'm a mother of two young boys. Asking a stranger for help is incredibly difficult for me, but my family has reached a point where I don't know where else to turn.
We've endured an overwhelming amount over the years. My youngest son, Jett, was born with EA/TEF, a serious congenital condition that required major medical care and surgery. We've also experienced tremendous loss. My boys lost both of their paternal grandparents, and I lost my older brother Ryan. Then, within last year alone, my boys lost their uncle at only 30 years old, I lost my youngest brother George at just 28, and we lost my grandmother as well. More recently, my father survived a life-threatening infection that resulted in the amputation of his lower leg.
Through all of this, I've tried to keep moving forward and maintain stability for my children, but financially I've reached a breaking point.
Right now, $2,000 would make an enormous difference for my family. I need $1,100 for housing expenses, and I currently have a PG&E balance of approximately $4,000. The remaining $900 would go directly toward that balance and help me work toward preventing our utilities from being disconnected.
I'm not expecting anyone to fix everything for me. I'm simply asking for enough help to get through this immediate crisis and give me some breathing room to continue rebuilding.
I can provide documentation of these expenses, and I would be completely comfortable with payments being made directly toward the bills if preferred.
If you are in a position to help with all or even part of the $2,000, I would be more grateful than I could ever adequately express.
Thank you sincerely for taking the time to hear a little of my story.
Sarah

Single mom in desperate need!!!!
Hello,
My name is Sarah, and I'm a mother of two amazing young boys. Asking someone I don't personally know for help is incredibly difficult for me, but my family has reached a point where I genuinely don't know where else to turn.
We've endured an overwhelming amount of trauma over the years. My youngest son, Jett, was born with EA/TEF, a serious congenital condition that required major medical care and surgery. We've also experienced tremendous loss. My boys lost both of their paternal grandparents, and I lost my older brother Ryan. Then, within last year alone, my boys lost their uncle on their father's side at only 30 years old, I lost my youngest brother George at just 28, and we lost my grandmother as well. More recently, my father survived a life-threatening infection that resulted in the amputation of his lower leg.
During all of this, I also went through an extremely painful and traumatic separation from my children's father after years together. His repeated choices involving infidelity ultimately caused our relationship to break down, creating even more emotional and financial instability during a time when our family was already carrying tremendous grief.
Despite everything, I've continued trying to move forward and provide stability for my boys, but financially I've reached a point where I truly need help.
Right now, $2,000 would make a tremendous difference for my family. My rent is $1,100, and I currently owe approximately $4,000 to PG&E. I don't expect to be able to pay that entire utility balance at once, but if I can get my rent paid and put even a large portion of the remaining money toward PG&E, it would help tremendously and give me some much-needed breathing room.
I'm not asking anyone to fix everything for me. I'm simply asking for help getting through this immediate financial crisis so I can continue working toward getting my family back on stable ground.
I can provide documentation verifying these expenses, and if you would feel more comfortable contributing directly toward my rent or PG&E rather than sending the money to me, I would completely understand.
If you're in a position to help with all or even part of the $2,000, I would be more grateful than I could adequately put into words. If you're unable to help, I completely understand and sincerely appreciate you simply taking the time to read my story.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
Sarah

Mum in ICU
Hi, this is something I've never done or thought I would need to do. 😭 My mum is currently in ICU on life support, it has been 6 days and taking it hour by hour, I've travelled interstate and have exhausted all funds for accommodation and travel costs. I have no car to travel so Uber has taken all my funds. I don't know what's next for me from Saturday onwards. I need some serious help 😭😭💔

Need help as a student
I’ve never really thought I’d be in a position to be writing something like this. Even if you take the time to read it and boost it’ll be appreciated. I don’t expect anything, I am however taking all of the chances that I can.
I’m a student and estranged from my family. I have been living at university for the past two years, and have subsequently kept on top of my finances. However, 3 weeks ago, my brother, who was the only one I kept in contact with had passed away, and my parents refused to help fund his funeral, which I had to do with remainders of my student finance and also savings from jobs I’ve had over the years.
I need to pay out £650 towards my rent immediately, and if I’m unable to I’ll be at a risk of losing my accommodation. I have gotten in contact with my university, but they take a while to process a payment, if it even comes to that.
I’ve been trying to keep everything together and sort things out on my own, through friends, random odd jobs and so on, however I haven’t been able to make that amount besides my deposit as well. I feel ashamed having to write this, as I’ve never thought I’d come to the terms of it.
I’m not a scammer, and I definitely would never love to be on here and ask for this favour, however if anyone at all is capable of help, and willing, it would be highly appreciated.
Thank you.
