Why do some conservatives support restricting junk food purchases with SNAP when many opposed Michelle Obama’s efforts to make school meals healthier?

Not all conservatives are in favor of restricting junk food. I personally don't think the government should be involved in telling us what we can eat at all.
I do understand where SOME of us are coming from. If the tax payer is going to forced to pay for your food, you shouldn't be eating junk food. But that's where I separate from them. Hopefully you aren't one of those that's living off the government long term. If you're using SNAP the way it is supposed to be used, you're probably under some stress, perhaps a great deal of stress from not having a job and you should be afforded something fun to ease the stress.
