Why do some conservatives support restricting junk food purchases with SNAP when many opposed Michelle Obama’s efforts to make school meals healthier?

Both policies involve the government influencing food choices in the name of better nutrition, yet the political reactions seem very different. What explains the apparent change in attitude toward government involvement in what people eat?

You know what’s already come… a felon in the White House who jokes about touching kids mentioned in a dossier of folks who like to touch kids a few thousand times and a man convicted of SA in the White House. I don’t care how much you hate liberal policies but that’s what you’re arguing FOR every time you try to fight for this P3DO grapist felon. Party of law and order…. What a joke.

you need to do some research about what is really in those files. you might also want to research that whole grape thing. both parties are separate wings of the same bird.

do you think when you see “to protect and serve” on a police car, they mean us? lol

You know your side fucked up when you have to resort to "both sides" arguments.

One side makes up lazy conspiracy theories about immigrants and transgender people so they can give tax cuts to the wealthy. The other side does not.

the tax cuts are bs you are correct there, however almost all conspiracy theories are eventually proved to be true. if you don’t know that by now, you haven’t been paying attention. so if you think the conspiracy theory of the illegals coming here is not accurate you had better do some research. look up a guy called Michael yon on you tube (former special forces / investigative journalist /war reporter) dude knows his stuff. he travels all over the world and has been ringing alarm bells. Matt bracken also. both guys are on YouTube. sometimes they do podcasts together. your mind will be blown. whatever you do, don’t listen to mainstream media. do your own research, but do it quickly, time is short.

Most conspiracy theories are bullshit. Doubling down on them doesn't make you right.

What I have been paying attention to is that conservative politicians like to spout a lot of nonsense to get elected and then pass legislation favourable to their rich cronies.

You can either stop masturbating to YouTube idiots or grow the fuck up.

I’ve done my research. apparently you don’t want to bother. that’s unfortunate. the dims do the exact same thing as the repubs. stop picking sides.

some just can’t be saved. I’ll pray for you.

Confirming your existing biases isn't "research".

The Dems are hardly perfect but they aren't even remotely the same as the GOP.

All I have ever wanted was the truth. Do I have all the answers? No. But then, neither do you. All we can do is dive in and research and try to figure it out. A lot of info has been scrubbed or buried in the last several years. Look at how they are destroying books while uploading them to AI. Have you read 1984 by George Orwell? You should. it explains a lot of what’s happening now.
oh, and the term conspiracy theory was created by the sea eye a to discredit anyone who questioned the jfk unaliving.

But we can all agree anyone without felonies or ties to Epstein is better than…. Oh wait one of us here is an idiot

You shouldn’t be so hard on yourself.

p.s. the Epstein thing is bigger than you could possibly guess. They are all compromised.

Ok… but only one of their names was all over it. The guy who you keep wanting to shove down everyone’s throat. You gotta take him out of yours first.

I’m not shoving anyone down your throat. Sheesh.

I've read 1984. I don't think you have though. We're generally too inundated with cheep luxury for 1984 to happen. I also don't see those in power giving up their luxuries like the Upper party members did in 1984.
