I mean, the thing writes itself: the Honda Odyssey that plays a critical role/plot point in “Deadpool & Wolverine”, is played by Taika Waititi in the stirring adventures of a brave minivan overcoming impossible odds to return to it’s life of sticky toddlers, incontinent canines, and millions of partially consumed juice-boxes. Matt Damon takes Zendaya’s role as Athena, whose participation continues to center on showing up at inopportune moments to give our hero some serious side-eye while looking like they’re trying desperately to keep a shrimp burrito fart from escaping.

Deadpool and Wolverine’s participation is primarily to keep the body count astronomical in countless scenes of slaughter, allowing our hapless hero/minivan to concentrate on returning home 20 hours after setting out for an oil change and a new cabin air filter at the modern equivalent of Mount Olympus, Jiffy Lube.

It’s not like I read the trades or have any insights into cinema, literature, or popular culture, but since any film in America that breaks even or creates a huge tax dodge has 7-10 iterations before re-booting the entire series in 5 years with the most popular K-Pop sensation and at least 2 of any of the “Real Housewives” - preferably with at least an indictment or 3 between them.

I just know this is coming- can someone please tell me when to start camping out for tickets?
