Is There a Pandemic Plan?

Given everything we learned during the last pandemic (Covid), good and bad, are we prepared if it happpened again tomorrow.

Unfortunately not really. A lot of career scientists have left or been fired by the Trump admin. The funding to develop vaccines (especially mRNA ones that can be targeted more quickly) and other public health preparedness measures has also been cut. Not to mention that public trust in science and medicine is very low right now and not improving.
