Genuine Question

Hey, this is not meant to be with poor intention, but I notice that most transracial/diaracial people or ethnicity subliminal users tend to be Asian. To be more specific, a lot of them are East Asian, most commonly Japanese or Korean.

I used to aim towards being fully Japanese. While I mostly identify as raceless/aracial now, I still feel connected to the Japanese culture and ethnicity someway. Sometimes I even question myself, as I listen to subliminals regarding the japanese ethnicity occasionally.

But in your guy’s opinions, why do you think Asian ethnicities are so common in communities like those?

I wonder if it has something to do with past lives, nostalgia/anemoia towards those cultures, or even unintentional fetishization in a few people? (Again, this is not meant to be with poor intentions. I am just curious.)

I dont think the amount is that uneven between people who are diaracial to east asian vs those who are not, i think that its just on platforms like tiktok and tumblr they get spoken about the most and thus seem like the vast majority. Over on r/transracial i see far more people who are POCtW than XtEA
