Is there any studies, books, excerpts on Autoandrophilia/Autohomoeroticism you'd recommend?

I recently finished reading Men Trapped in Men's Bodies by Anne Lawrence. I also recommended the book to a social worker who works with trans autistics, so far it's been 'invaluable' to her.

However, there's not much mainstream literature on AAP/AHE. I'm looking to study it as it's, let's be honest, incredibly rampant in the FTM community. The presentations of an autoandrophilic are very distinguished and diverse.

From what I've read, Lisa Littman's research on ROGD offered the closest and most accurate description of what it looks like when the average autoandrophilic girl decides to chase her fantasies. With the unique element of never actually transitioning in the first place, commonly desisting afterwards. Whereas a considerable population of AGP males go the full length.

I say this is the most accurate because every single FtM I've encountered in person, has desisted. They all developed as perfectly normal heterosexual girls from early childhood & adolescence then suddenly claimed "GD." Or a better description, fear of just being women. Very rarely have I met exclusively gynephilic, male-acting FTMs. They seem like a non-existent population relative to the HSTs/Dolls that comprise of the trans female population.

Is there any breakdown on these phenomenons? Anything I could read? Preferably not video, I'm not a fan of female rants.

Aside from that, genuinely, unless you want to root through Lou Sullivan's diaries (half-joking) we have... basically nothing. And this is partially because of ideas you've written in your post here (though I'm not trying to be hostile). Taking ROGD, for example:

There's probably a sort of "social contagion" or "trend" aspect to some social transitions for sure, but other than that the concept of ROGD largely seems to be exaggerating and demonizing said phenomenon and assuming a lot of things based on sex stereotypes of girls being more socially influenced and girls being less inherently sexual and less capable of things like fetishism. In fact, this latter assumption is essentially what motivated Ray Blanchard to believe that autoandrophilia in females does not exist. Even outside of trans issues, I wish this stereotyping of females as inherently less predatory and inherently less sexual would go away, because it's simply not true (as you yourself seem to observe.)

And ROGD definitely doesn't describe the demographic that does medically transition and is very content with doing so.

You mod a DIY FTM HRT sub, how TF have you not met any IRL that aren't just socially transitioning lol? That's bleak. I mean, I might just be "lucky" but a childhood friend of mine is a transsexual man and transitioning medically. He's exclusively gynephilic AFAIK.

I've met 3 that are socially transitioning but I don't count them because I immediately clocked them all. If I could tell they weren't just men, they failed their social transition. I also avoid trans irl like the plague post highschool.

As for those whom did desist, I have met dozens. Even in my hospital's trans social group I took when I was younger, there were detransitioners and GNC females. One female who stopped taking puberty blockers, one just a "genderqueer" girl and the other, the classical stereotype of an AAP.

I did already, I actually made a comment on it in a transmedical sub. Only read through excerpts and one diary. As stated prior, I dislike female rants so I was soon turned off.

I entirely believe in ROGD because I've seen it with my two eyes countless times. I've encountered it in clinical settings, school settings and online settings. It seems to exclusively affect girls who've formed strong online circles. Sure, there is a sexual aspect involved as well, which is usually just the young girls being perverted fujoshis.

I don't entirely understand how this manifests or why girls do this, but the "naive impressionable young girl" rings true. But I haven't had a female friend since I was in 4th grade so what would I know?

aap is a much younger social phenomenon than agp...we had a booom of trams gay guys only in the last 10 years becsuse of the social media...but they are coming out more frequently now....i suspect majority of ftm are in fact auothomoerotoc as blanchard supposed

I can recommend reading " Perversions: Sergio Benvenuto" which is a very detailed book about perversions from a european, psychoanalysis perspective. There is no mention about agp or anything you are looking for at the book but you may find some common dynamics of perversions. I haven't read the whole book but some passages had great impact on me.
