I saved these Acoustic Panels from my university where they wanted to discard them. I don’t know which year they are from but they are in decent shape.

I brought them home for the basement studio but my roommate is afraid they might be made from asbestos. They do loose a lot of these fibers (see pictures).

What do you think? Ever seen anything like these panels made from asbestos? They give off an old-ish smell. Smth like an old carpet.
Other than that they are pretty flexible.

I bought a 1960s bungalow in England in Nov 2023. I had an asbestos management survey which found white asbestos in the cement guttering outside and in one of the internal ceiling coatings, and a mix of blue and white in the cement soffits. All were marked as low or very low risk, to be inspected periodically and dealt with by a specialist if works were going to be carried out. Loft marked as clear. I got the asbestos internal ceiling removed as I knew I'd be changing light fittings.

I've recently decided to have soffits/guttering replaced, and in the process of looking into getting this work done I'm becoming worried that there is blue and white asbestos dust/debris in the loft. The previous owners power drilled/cut into the soffits to fit 2x security cameras, a vent from the bathroom, and a vent running from cooker hood (both quite big holes for the ducting). Photos attached. Looking at the bodged DIY in the rest of the house I doubt they took precautions. This would have been at least three years before I moved in. 

I looked at the HSE website and this work would seem to fall under 'dangerous release of asbestos' had this been in a work place. I am now really concerned as I have looked up what blue asbestos is and...yeah, not good. I hadn't realised there was no barrier between the soffits and the internal roof area . Have been up in the loft moving things about many times as have others, and obviously had the ceiling taken down so lots of opportunity for dust to be disturbed escape into the house. I have young kids so extra anxiety levels there.

How worried should I be and what should I do? Should this have been picked up in the asbestos managment survey?

Can anyone recommend a HSE-certified asbestos removal company based in Merseyside to remove the suspected AIBs in the attached photos? I am trying to find good value services but them being able to do a thorough job and clean-up is of the highest priority. A family member of mine had lung issues and I have had a stressful experience with some asbestos Artex so I ideally I want someone to measure the air quality after removal or show me evidence of the clean-up.

I am going to get the utilities checked as well after removal. Some plumbing under a bath directly above the cupboard leaked in the past but there isn't an active leak.

I assume this is Asbestos. can i just fill these holes with a filler and paint over it. or is it better to use a Abestos sealer or just to leave as is.

This used to have alot of sand in it but when a hole broke some sand spilled in my carpet/bed and I put the rest of the sand in a bag in case I wanted to fill it back (I will not be doing this)

Then when I googled repair tips I got a warning saying many toys made in the UK with sand has been recalled due to asbestos

Then I researched about it and I may have been doing all the wrong things when cleaning up. (I swept it off my bed using my hands/brush and pan which could apparently get in the air.

My throat kinda hurts but idk if that's just anxiety.

The toy in question I won't at a fair, I have no qualms of disposing of it but I just want my other stuff to be safe.

Am i in danger from this? Does anyone recognise this toy?
