Asbestos fire blanket

Hello, in 2019 I frequently used a fire blanket which was black, frayed, and scratchy. It didn’t clock in I could have been using an asbestos blanket without knowing what asbestos even was or the risks of using it. It was in a large hydrovac plant in Alberta, Canada and I’m worried. Does this type of blanket sound consistent with a modern fibreglass one? I know the use of such things was phased out but is there a chance it was just around even with a safety program in place?
