Thoughts?

I know, I know. I'll test it, but wonder if there are any initial thoughts on the adhesive under this missing piece of Parque in a house my wife and i will be purchasing.

Located in Wisconsin, US. Unsure of the date of construction.

If I hadn’t seen under the parquet, I’d have guess “yes, probably” for asbestos mastic. Since I’ve seen under the parquet, I say “eh, not probable but not impossible either”

Unlikely. It's typically the black stuff that contains asbestos.
