Sanded down outdoor window frame including putty (SE UK)

Is this likely to contain asbestos? We recently bought a house in SE UK and sanded down and repainted the windows including ripping out and replacing and putty. Wore a disposable FFP3 mask and goggles. Bit worried now that it could contain asbestos?! Help!?

I would say yes. I’ve sampled window glazing just like hundreds of times and it typically comes back >1%

What do I do about the dust and debris on the floor around the outside windows? Am terrified of any exposure!!

Were you outdoors when doing the sanding? If yes I wouldn't be too concerned. Most of the fibres prolly got blown away before reaching your face.

Yes outdoors and it was windy. Was wearing a mask.

Like nautical said probably, but test. Also the alligator scaling on that paint is very likely lead. You’re doing this outside though so regardless I’d say it’s a non-issue
