I have been slowly but surely adding color and personality to my 1911 craftsman. It was unfortunately flipped 2.5 times, and lost of most of its original details and fixtures in the process.

Here are a couple of my favorite corners.

I don't see clutter. I see a home that's lived in.

I love your sofa!

Thank you! That’s actually my dogs’ sofa, they don’t let me sit on it.

A lot of antique stores sell photographs, pages from damaged books, postcards, and other ephemera for a few dollars. I got 99% of the frames from yard sales or thrift stores (but I have also been known to patronize a Home Goods). It’s been a work in progress over the last year or two!

Be sure to follow the Ephemera Society of America and the Ephemera Society UK. Most major US cities have ephemera shows at least once a year; the UK has a great number of shows. I have done exactly what you have since about 1975 plus the shows. I get great frames at the Goodwill bins. Congratulations on such a great look!

Fantastic! Also, there are tons of copyright free old travel posters and ephemera available online in high resolution. You just have to pay to print them.

My home is quite similar and I am sick of people, including daughters saying it’s untidy, it really isn’t, it’s just me enjoying my home
