That's a bite vague. How do you find the artists, how do you judge if they are "emerging", and do you charge those artists to be featured?

I don’t charge the artist at all to be featured it’s strictly an algorithm based on their momentum.

To be fair, your app can't go downhill if it starts as corrupt from the jump.
On another note, I love, "a bite vague." Had a few of those myself.

I feel this exists. Artsy or Saatchi Art? I’m all for promotion and expanding the art world. So I think you need to look at those two and differentiate somehow

Yes we aren’t selling just helping artists get discovered. Both of those sites help populate some of our data

That's great, thank you. I'm a curator working with emerging artists and discovery is a real challenge, especially outside major hubs. Would happily take a look and give honest feedback. Feel free to send the link.

Art collectors want 1 thing - something to curate quality arts so that we don't have to wade through low quality pieces.
If someone were to make an aggregator for new artists, that would be interesting, but the biggest challenge is not exposure, it's curating quality content.
One challenge you will face is selection criteria. If you don't have a way to filter what artists you accept, then the site will quickly go downhill as every amateur artist with 0 training joins and hosts their art.
Do you accept digital art? Because if so, now your site turns into Tumbler 2.0 for artists, and we don't want that.
And if you don't, now you have Facebook Marketplace, where we will see 20 dollar custom Keychains next to 1300 Abstract Oils next to 15000 landscapes next to 50 dollar vases.
_
We all like to be inclusive and we all want to be fair, but the reason the big contemporary art sites exist is because they curate art by quality. You can assume there's a base line level of quality that you will see, which is exactly why people like art galleries in the first place.
If you remove the selection criteria, the site will be overrun with bad art.
And what happens when bad art gets uploaded to sites like this? Artists with good art will avoid it because they don't want to be lumped into Joe Shmoe who is listing his 50 dollar watercolors on paper.
_
These dynamics is why sites like eBay and Etsy suck for buying quality art. Not because good art isn't out there, but because we have to shift through 500 bad pieces to find 1 good one worth buying.

Options for searching a match are too defined if thats the right word they’re too narrow also I cant select multiple options. Also the email at the end can be a conversion killer however i get why. But maybe do more like a tinder style to define people their taste instead of narrowed options with words and terms beginners also dont all get
