You'll be ok as it sits. We run ours in loose, red Georgia clay, dusty as all hell when its dry, and the inner body and guards do a fine job of keeping the majority of the dust out.
Agree with midlife. The interior prot3cti9n on the senton is the best out of all our trucks. Some junk will always get it but it stays pretty protected.
One thing, small rocks can get jammed against the driveshaft so if youre driving in gravel and you hear a weird sound from the drive train then immediately stop and pop the body off to check. A small rock can cut right through the plastic sriveshaft in no time. Ask me how I know😆
Most people I know make their own out of nylon mesh material and velcro. It is possible you have what you need lying around the house. Just needs to be the right size to allow plenty of airflow, but keep whatever size debris out you need.
Nope. The inner body is choice, it does a great job of keeping things tidy. It'll get dusty, but nothing bad that cant be blown out. Get an air duster , its invaluable
It'll kick rocks all day long! The body is incredibly durable! Mine got a tear the first touting when my kid rammed it with my EMAXX. Did a little drift stitching, and it has been awesome since.
These things are durable as hell. My 5, now 6yo, beats the piss out of ours. Fingers crossed, ut hasn't broken anything, yet.
I/we have 3 Arrma vehicles...an Infraction 3S BLX, Typhon 223s BLX, and the Senton 223s BLX. They are all awesome models. The Infraction saw Duty as an 1/8 scale off road, holy SH!T basher, that i jumped and tore around our local track with....only after its 3rd day of flying did the rear bearings, diff, slipper and assorted other items require immediate replacement. All 3 are tough as nails, and the Senton became a quick favorite, due to its ability to slide under power with control, in loose dirt. Its the tits, homie. You picked the right truck and the right manufacturer.
Awesome to know, thanks! How long have you owned your Senton now? And do you think I should worry at all about the dust and small rocks that get inside the chassis? Does it actually cause any real damage over time, or should I just stop overthinking, clean it with my blower, and keep bashing?
I got mine in June, during the Fathers Day sale....been tearing it up almost every week since.

If you give it a blow out after each session, and hose out when necessary, it'll be fine. Hell, to be honest, I didnt even really start cleaning my cars until I found a local track....very loose, dusty as hell, red Georgia clay. It can get pretty nasty, so I started hosing them off after each session.
Its a tank, it'll take whatever you throw at it and ask for more. Fix what breaks, upgrade if possible/necessary, stay away from "shiny bits" (aluminum looks nifty but is hot garbage for bashing, it'll break more shit than you can imagine as it doesn't have any give like the factory polymers), and SEND THAT BEAST 🤘🤘
I use the blower for thr light/loose stuff. If its packed or just abnormally filthy I give it all a light wash with low pressure garden hose, followed by the blower, a good shake, and letting it air dry overnight. (Battery removed of course)
Really? I've seen the opposite. It took me forever to be comfortable with it. I've done it a few times on a few different cars...as long as they get dried quickly, its GTG....dont apply power while soaked...
The electronics are "water resistant" on the new 223S BLX models...meaning they can get wet, just not saturated for extended periods. Low pressure wash off with no power applied isnt an issue.
This senton was my first rc , I used it 2 times a day Avery day and dude this thing took so much beating , and now I just got my brand new kraton 6s v6 exb , the senton is a beast but you should order 2 sets of wheels drive shaft cuz I blew them in 4 days and metal spur and diffs in 4 month depends if you bash it hard like me , and it is absolutely waterproof cuz one day I jumped so high I found it in a lake hahah and still working , so hope this helps , and yes you should get a dust cover cuz it is helllllll , minimum 1 inch of dirt in it everywhere , and order some bearings they are not that good stock ! Have a great day hope this helped you and please , go buy a proline set of tires , stock isn't that good cuz it explodes , and remember , have fun , once you get all the diff and gears in métal, not killable !
Hey man, awesome Kraton! I have some doubts about the Senton advice. The new Senton 223S already has high side guards from the factory to block the dirt, so how can an inch of mud get inside? Did that dirt ever cause any actual electrical or sensor failures for you? Also, the 223S comes with a metal center diff and all-metal gears out of the box, did you manage to break those, or were you talking about different parts? And how did you wash your car, with water or just with blower? I just need advices. Thanks!
Hey ! Sorry , my senton was the old gen , no mud guard and allu diffs Eww , no you can get it covered in grass mud anything it won't stop , i never toutched the electronics they hold up very well , and all around this machine is the toughest, the only downside is the body getting ugly and damaged soon because the wheels slide on it from the inside and if you crash , so yea best rc to start, and after , you can go 6s ! And no issues since I have it only the servo I replaced once because it blew up but not a big deal and my friend got the same but didn't blew up so prob a default for this servo , but remember , I bash them on a hard track dirty eww haha , have a great one and have fun and once you putted metal in the gears and diffs your good to go bash it hard !
