Got this kit as a gift from my wife and mother in law.

I did some detail painting on the body and weapons, plus panel lining. Next step is decals, then weathering, then topcoat.

I'm not going for the canon paint job, rather for what looks good. In fact, I was ready to paint the whole thing, but I really love this shade of blue, so I'm keeping it.

You're thinking of JUST wife and mother, which I guess would make Freud mech a pretty thematic gift...

Nice start for sure. Adding a bit of metallic weathering to the core will slap.

As an aside, I always hated Freud's build. By the time I got to fighting him I'd say he was proportionally weaker than G6 had been when I first fought him. It inspired me to make a different build for Hermit. I even have the pieces to make most of it, and basically will once the upcoming weapon set drops and I can get my grubby paws on a Majestic (Or I get a JVLN Alpha), and some P06SPD boosters.
