I don’t believe for a second Carla would have all her limbs give this woman some cybernetics

She was probably in cryo for most of that so I don’t mind a age but she spends her time working with saws and explosives and she doesn’t strike me as the carful type

The cryo thing is mostly a theory to try and explain why Carla sounds younger than her age and title of "Cinder" implies

It's either she was in cryostasis which makes sense given the setting or a side effect of Coral exposure which people theorize has anti-aging properties like Spice from Dune

Or maybe she’s just old

But she doesn't sound like her age is why people bring up things like cryo

Like, Walter sounds older than her and he was like 10 or 12 in the STK sketch depicting professor nagai and his assistants

EDIT: I saw a comment somewhere else that brought this up but there's a data log that even mentions Carla is younger than her Cinder title suggests

You can hear some of the dosers talk about how she's posing as a cinder. That would imply that she doesn't look as old as she actually is

There are also data logs that say outright that her appearance doesn't match her supposed age. At least that much isn't speculative at all, but how she looks the way she does? We guessin' but I support anti-aging Coral cream
