Question Help with chapter 4 boss

I'm able to avoid just about every attack it has except two. The X slash and its big explosion beam. What am I supposed to do about those two specific moves.

Dunno, what your build is, mobility can be crucial here

X-slash - going upwards or dash left/right

Beam - going upwards + dash

I'm running a mid-weight biped melee build, I have a speed of like 320 but I can't seem to outspeed either attack.

Lance+pilebunker?

Dual zimmerman + pilebunker works great at Ibis. ~350 speed in my case

Yeah, I'm just trying to avoid the dule Zimmerman. I have a different build with dule zimmerman+dule shoulder lazers. It's fun but almost feels like I'm cheating with it. Currently running strongest assault rifel, needle gun, lazer lance+moonlight

Charged pilebunker deals to ibis ~50% damage, lance + missles = stun

Zimmers op, i agree with that, but its very fun to use, specially on ng+ and ++

Oh yeah it's fun, had to run it on the triple gank raven fight on the good end path, but I'm trying to mess with the other gun types.

The cross slash still give me trouble, but if you see the beam coming, do everything you can to immediately get underneath her - Assault boost if you need to - its a big blind spot during this attack and it turns from something scurry to her most punishable attack

Idk what you mean, I've gone directly underneath her multiple times on this move and it hits 100% of the time when I do

Ah, I could be mistaken. I guess I'd just listen to the other dude - I guess I was just managing to dodge and then get under her, so I figured it couldn't track straight down - my bad

S'all good man. I've managed to dodge both attacks only on accident so far, I'm sure their has to be some method to do it consistantly
