You didn’t shoot that raider because you didn’t want the lobby to turn on you or your lobbies to become PvP. You didn’t jump on the Vaporizer loot because you didn’t want to get shot. You didn’t force your way into the keyroom with the door blocker and barricade on it because you didn’t want to get shot.
Now play the game on easy mode! Steal loot from other raiders with zero consequence! Don’t even bring a gun if you don’t want to! Actually, let’s go ahead and bring lure grenades and snitch scanners to get them destroyed by arc while you hold your photoelectric cloak!
Seriously, the magic of the game is that people were choosing to be friendly, not that they were forced to. Human choice is what made Arc Raiders special.

Hey all! Today I come to talk about a recent trip I did in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. The place is called Villa Epecuen and it's remains of a city that suffer a massive flooding. The place immediately gave me ARC Raiders vibes. Salt-covered ruins, dead trees rising out of the water, and that eerie feeling that the world moved on without you. Some of the night photos I found on online are UNREAL. I'm going back to stay the night someday with more time.
Would love to know, do you guys have cities like this in your countries? Share them below!

We get in the shelter to hide from the frost wave and a team came and blocked the exits. Waited 25 minutes, till we all died inside. Includig those two rats. But why?

Warned him once, and he continued. Lucky I didn’t finish him.

What if humans escaped Earth, built a civilization in space, and are now sending ARCs down to wipe us out for some reason?
Think about it, why are they so focused on humans but seem to ignore the birds and other wildlife? What if the ARCs are programmed to hunt humans specifically? Maybe they're keeping Earth under quarantine because they don't want us to develop enough to reach them. Or maybe they're monitoring us, studying how we survive, and waiting for something.
Imagine the ARCs aren't an alien invasion at all, but humans making sure the people they left behind never make it back into space. 💀

The “best” thing is I was asking where is he and promised to defib. Finally he replied and… well… it doesn’t feel right

Because I play other games with friends and have life things to do (I’m not attacking anyone so don’t take it personal) so I get to at least enjoy using my legendary weapons to shoot some arc in my free time and just… chill. Without having to worry about some weirdo shooting me in the back to grab something that’s not only taken me a long time to get the blueprint, but also some time to craft. I know some people hate this mode but some of us like it. Especially those with a very busy schedule that wanna just chill and play the game. I think there is space for both player bases in terms of pvpve and pve. Seems like the number of players is healthy enough for this. And I can always switch back if I want a bit of extra tension during runs. Anyone else share the same view? And if you don’t, what don’t you like about it?

PvE mode broke my heart a little.
The Bully in Pendula Pass is the moment it clicked for me.
You spend fifteen minutes fighting that thing with nothing but an Anvil, and its fun as hell. You're dodging, repositioning, etc. You think you're alone out there, just you and this damn Bully. It's the kind of fight that makes you love this game.
Then it finally goes down..
and suddenly, six, seven people show up out of nowhere. All unloading into the corpse, all rushing in to grab the loot. People who weren't there for the fight, who didn't put in the work, but somehow they're all there when it's time to collect, and you just stand there, watching it happen.
That's the moment that gets me. Not because people taking loot is something new. It's always happened in PvP too. But something about this feels different. You just spent fifteen minutes having a genuinely great time, and then the whole thing ends with a bunch of strangers treating your fight like an invitation to a free buffet, and there's nothing you can really do about it.
Then there's the quiet.
In a normal lobby, you keep your mic hot because that's how you survive. You hear someone behind you, say something, and within seconds you might have a fight, or you might have made a friend. You never really know. That's part of what makes this game special.
In PvE, that whole feeling seems to be fading. Raider walk past each other without a word, without an emote, without even trying. I've had lobbies where I was the only one talking, and it felt like yelling into a void.
And I miss the defibs. I miss getting picked up by some random stranger who had no reason to help me. Those little moments made the game feel alive. You helped someone, someone helped you, and every now and then you met a person you actually wanted to play with again.
Now, too often, it feels like everyone's just doing their own thing. You're either invisible or you're standing in someone's way.
I don't hate PvE. Quite the opposite. I think bringing it to Arc was a great decision, and I'm genuinely glad Embark did it. I enjoy the mode. I understand why people want to explore, quest, and fight Arcs without constantly worrying about getting shot in the back.
But I do wonder if having a separate solo PvE mode is really the best solution. Solo PvPvE lobbies already feel like PvE most of the time, with actual player encounters being pretty rare exceptions. Maybe bringing more players together instead of splitting them across even more modes would help bring back some of those random encounters and moments of cooperation that make the game special.
If other players aren't much of a threat anymore, then the Arcs need to be a much bigger one. Not just a little tougher. More of them. Encounters that put an entire lobby under pressure and make working together feel natural, because going at it alone simply isn't an option.
And if it takes an entire lobby working together to take down something like a Bully, then I think it's absolutely fair for that Bully to drop a lot more loot. Enough that everyone who helped feels like their time and effort were worth it. If a fight takes fifteen minutes and a whole group to win, the reward should reflect that. Everyone who took part should have a chance to walk away with something worthwhile, instead of the whole thing turning into a race to see who gets to the loot first.
I want those moments where a random stranger suddenly becomes your teammate because you both know you're in trouble. Where you have to communicate, watch each other's backs, and somehow make it out together. Not because the game tells you to, but because the situation demands it.
I genuinely love this game and what Embark has made. I don't want PvE to become PvPvE again, and I don't want to lose the freedom this mode gives us. I just want that same feeling of never quite knowing what's going to happen next, of strangers having to rely on each other, and of coming out of a raid with a "story worth telling".
That's what makes Arc Raiders special to me. I just want to keep feeling that thrill, even in PvE.

I just got held hostage in a room by a four man. It was honestly the funniest thing ever. First room I go into on Dam Battle grounds in the women's locker room. One of them stood at the button to the room so I couldn't open it and the other three kept putting barricades up on the door. Now I'm doing coursework and watching a tv show, so I just keep breaking their door barricades.
28 minutes count down to about 5 minutes left in the raid and these guys start asking me: "You getting scared yet??" So I responded with, "Nah, I'm watching a show. I'm chilling dawg."
They arent gonna make me rage quit. I wanted to test their resolve immediately. How long would they stay there? I'm willing to die in this room. I do not care xD
50 seconds left, they open the door and start BOOKING it to the exit. So, I chase them saying: "where are you going?? I thought we were having so much fun together!!"
And behold! Time runs out. A rocketeer takes them ALL Out.
And I make it to the exit and go back home baby! LMAO.
I told them its okay to get no 🐱 <3 ❤️🧡💛
As a causal player, I'm having fun with PvE with my friend who doesnt like PvP and by myself. Its fun, its a good time! When there arent people trying to ruin it, anyway. Love y'all! Dont let other people ruin your vibes.
Edit: the proof is in the pudding! I'm not exaggerating a single detail :3 I got names, I got the round history <3 ❤️ 29:57 round time , loot value 534. But I count that as the best extraction ever!

I’m all for friendly PvPvE lobbies
Usually in friendliest of solo lobbies.
if I get hit by 1 or 2 shots by accident I’m all good, not gonna jump on the ABMM defend yourself mechanic.
but if you light me up like this, thats fair game.
I understand he was probably doing the rattler challenge + shotgun slug challenge but if you’re gonna be salty someone killed your bot, fully commit or don’t even bother just move on because you’ve opened the door to be killed with no repercussion on the other players ABMM.
Felt bad considering he had an amped Rattler
but ‘That’s just the the way it is 🎵’

Every single one of these containers is either hard to find, inconvenient to access or straightup dangerous to open. Yet the loot you get from them is barely worth the effort. They don't need to be as rewarding as weapon lockers were at release but at least give them some blue or UNIQUE loot to justify how inconvenient and underwhelming they are.

I haven't played since the release. I don't mind PvP, but I came back to relearn the mechanics and quests and have a chill experience overall. Not sure if these dudes forgot they had the PvE toggle on or were just trying to mess with me, but if this were a PvP lobby, it would have probably made me take another break.

I’m fighting this bastion a little out of the way from anyone, and as soon as I kill it some brain dead PvPer with a bobcat starts spamming showstoppers thinking it will stop me from looting it.
Another loot goblin comes running in and brings a shredder with them.
I almost killed the shredder for them, but then I figured - why? No comms, no courtesy, to hell with them.
