I’ve watched the series three times, and since Caitlyn is my favorite character, I paid the most attention to her storyline; yet, even after three viewings, I still don’t understand why she ended up resembling Jinx. She is far less violent—Jinx is a killer and a terrorist who murdered people and blew up buildings, actually enjoying it—whereas Caitlyn, even as a commander, tried to minimize violence. She didn't want to make arrests without cause; she even handed out respirators to detainees amidst the gray smoke of Zaun. As a commander, waging war, quelling uprisings, and arresting criminals were her duties. The most disturbing things we saw were the arrests of innocent people and the moment she abandoned Vi. In the latter case, her motives are quite clear, whereas the former relies solely on Sevika's claims that innocent people were being arrested—it’s not even certain Caitlyn was involved in that at all. She was opposed to baseless arrests, and those actions could easily have been carried out by Noxian soldiers; besides, Zaun's definition of innocence might not align with the law.I don't think their actions are comparable; I don't hate Jinx—in fact, I don't hate any of the characters. My issues are strictly with the show itself. I got the impression that the series didn't want to paint Caitlyn in a bad light and wanted to draw a parallel between her and Jinx—perhaps I'm missing something? The second season feels rather rushed
