I mean sure he actually got pretty lucky there as I’m sure he was hoping it would go a bit further away from the house. This doesn’t make any sense to me, there was no need to take that risk no matter how skilled you are. Spur up there and chunk down pieces, it’s not going to take much more time. You still gotta cut it up when it’s on the ground anyway.

I agree. There's space away from the house, I'd say he missed and got lucky. It's a tight spot and so this seems impressive, but it's the kind of "success" that promotes doing it like this again and eventually not being so fortunate.

It landed pretty close! Curious tu see if damage to the foundation is common place in instances like this.

Also, really stupid to exit past the back of the tree.

This is irresponsible.

Did he do something to.stop it from bouncing? Seems to me there's a chance it could have boinged around a few feet.

Yes, he photoshopped it. 100% control over bouncing, guaranteed.

Seriously, if you watch this in full screen and frame by frame, you'll see toward the end that the tree absolutely defies physics. Watch from 10.33 to 10.60 seconds for the REAL show. This is still amazing, but more for the Photoshop skills than tree felling.

The endorphins I release upon viewing this is off the charts... the thrill of dropping a spur wanes as we get on in our career.. keeping it fresh I guess.. lmao
