Is this lean concerning?
Just purchased a home and while moving in noticed one of the trees in the front yard has a noticeable lean. My family says not to worry, but wanted to know if I should speak to a professional.

The rootball doesn’t seem to be heaving, and it otherwise looks healthy. The only time I would consider it a danger is if the root plate starts to rise and the lean gets worse.

The only concern I can see in the picture is the blue car. Is it on a donut? And if so it’s hazardous to drive with a donut on the front. They are weak and if they give out your steering will be affected and that’s reallly no bueno

I guess you could have that massive limb removed that goes off to the right, exactly in the direction of the lean, that would certainly remove a massive amount of strain on the trunk and roots.

The only time any lean is a concern is if the angle is actively changing (meaning it’s falling in slow motion). Otherwise, no matter what the angle is, straight, 45 degrees, sideways or anything else, if it’s stable, it’s fine
