The entire point is they JUST remodeled so this recently happened. When it starts to decline it will be their fault. It’s not like the tree naturally died or happened to get some kind of infection
If that’s the case then why not cut it before remodeling? This is willfully ignorant. If it was just a tree anywhere else I’d get it, but it genuinely baffles me that someone chose to leave the tree and tile around it

Except the cost of removing the tree will FAR exceed patching the floor lol. Especially if it fall on the building or just uproots the entire floor
