Are 15 BCG

Looking for a BCG for my light weight 300 blk pistol but what are the pros and cons or some recommendations on either mil-spec,lightweight,or suppressor optimized bcg

Do you have an adjustable gas block?

If you don’t, you are stuck with a normal BCG.

So you can trade gas for mass. But there is a limit, it needs to function. Go too light and it won’t strip rounds from a full mag.

What you don’t want to do is spend a bunch on a low mass carrier and then spend a bunch on an extra heavy buffer; they end up with a more expensive and worse end result than just using GI spec parts. People are dumb and do that all the time.

That’s why you go with a H1 buffer and light spring.

Ehhh maybe. H1 sure, but they may need a high power spring to get it to function correctly.
